Throwing the star RB under the bus in a press conference after a big win when your QB makes 2-3 bone headed decisions a game? Yea this dude is clueless

John Middleton does not want his “fucking trophy” back…. He wants to fans to believe that so he can keep your asses in the seats so he can take your money. If replacing Harry K’s for an energy drink brand didn’t tell you that you neeed to open your eyes.

This is absolutely hysterical, no doubt, but it speaks to a real life phenomenon.
You largely become who you surround yourself with.
You will both subconsciously and consciously pick up on the things people do around you, both good and bad.
Choose wisely.

It’s genuinely hysterical how the only reason LeBron isn’t universally recognized as a “killer” is because he doesn’t bite his jersey, publicly berate his teammates, and always take heavily contested midrange pull-ups at the end of games.
In reality, he’s more basketball obsessed than anyone’s who’s ever lived.

Despite all the hero shots & impossible makes, Kobe rarely separated himself from the other all-time greats in IMPACT.
That’s the disconnect with Kobe: the eye test can make him look like the GOAT because nobody’s showing you the misses. The impact numbers see every possession.

The funny thing about watching this back is that I only notice 2 differences in execution, but they’re GLARING differences.
1. The Eagles haven’t had an X receiver who can consistently beat DBs on 6-8 yd slants 1-on-1 in 2 years. AJ was a monster on this drive in just slant routes alone, but he fell off hard in 2025 and neither Cooper/Wicks have filled that void so far this year.
When Hurts has his go-to slant read on 3rd down, the Eagles are unstoppable. We saw it against Jacksonville; when Wicks beat his man 3 times on 3 straight 3rd and longs, the Eagles converted all of them. But that production is so obviously missing from the past two years.
If you’re not convinced, watch back the video. Moore had a whole page of 3rd and medium plays, and most of them had AJ running that 5 yard slant.
2. No backbreaking penalties. 2025 was littered with errant holding and false start penalties on early downs, and it keeps biting them in 2026. Mannion emphasizes staying on schedule and you can’t do that if you’re sloppy with the procedural part of the game.
There are smaller differences, but the point is that the 2024 offense had answers that the 2026 offense just doesn’t. Call it injuries, call it coaching malpractice, call it a personnel issue. That fact remains.
The Philadelphia Eagles used to eat over 10 minutes off the game clock on a final drive..
Remember when we didn't have to worry about last minute heartbreaks?

No Kobe, Kareem, Magic, Duncan, Bird or Shaq and all the Bron haters are rejoicing over him not having Bron. Lol y’all admit who you think the goat really is every time. It’s all in your obsession.
