Another great District First Aid course run by Ken 😀 Thanks to everyone who gave up their time and attended from Derwentside, Durham City and Peterlee Districts.

It’s sometimes easy to forget how lucky we are as a district with the quality of our first aid training, equipment and, of course, our volunteer First Aid Adviser Ken. We hope everyone on today’s course has a lot of fun and thanks to leaders for giving up their time to attend.

Groups across the district paying their respects today. Those groups unable to take part in a public service found other ways to remember.
This afternoon our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Young Leaders joined together to:
Plant spring bulbs and seeds in remembrance and pay our respects to those who have served our country.

Well done to Arran @derwentscouts, awarded a Commissioner's Commendation for demonstrating the best of scouting values and helping to plan and run online section meetings across different groups and sections within the district since the suspension of face-to-face scouting.
