4. Respectfully, as cliché as this sounds, they are actually very good dogs with the right owners. I foster these dogs all the time. They are very sweet. But I would never adopt one of them to a family with small children. Does that make them violent? No. It means they are typically not appropriate dogs for that kind of environment. People are willing and able to care for these dogs if given the chance.

I want service dog gear to come with a prescription just like orthotics. You should not be able to purchase this on Amazon for $11. It would not be violating HIPAA for a business to ask for proof of valid licensed gear, much like a handicapped parking tag. It is outrageous anyone can pass off any dog as a valid service dog in public spaces. This harms actually disabled people. It makes their access less safe just like everyone else.
This change matters.
No bully breeds in service dog gear. No service dog gear available commercially for chump change. Make impersonation of a valid service animal a crime with severe punishment. Make a fake service dog attacking anyone or anything a felony for the owner. Jail time. Heavy monetary fines.
Unfortunately pit nuttery isn't exclusive to liberals, a lot of people on the right also worship these freaks and bought into the "nanny dog" myth, that they're less dangerous than chihuahuas etc

All of a sudden around the corner runs an unleashed pit-bull with a fake ass service dog vet. With zero provocation it lunges at Moose and attacks him.
The USELESS FUCKING MORON OWNER starts screaming nooooo and jumps on her pit. It has Moose’s neck in his jaw. J starts punching the pit bull as hard as possible while the moron screams and flails.
J hits it hard enough it lets go only to lunge and grab Moose’s back leg. At no point does Moose fight back. J punches the stupid dog over and over. It lets go.
We haul our dogs to a stairwell behind a closed door.

Macklemore has announced the "Free Palestine" tour after he was dropped from Ed Sheeran's U.S. concerts for making speeches supporting Palestine.
The tour includes three shows set for Dublin (Oct. 26), Paris (Oct. 29) and London (Oct. 30). All ticket sales and proceeds from the concerts will benefit organizations supporting Palestine.
