For my first job. ~300 Applications. 20 phone interview. 5 interview. 1 scam 1 offer. Salary was 72000 INR = 1200$. All these hardship because my degree was not enough to get a job in India's pool of engineers. Still I made it. #100DaysOfCode #CodeNewbie #freeCodeCamp

It is really easy to miss things as we do lots of context switching. I was just creating a plan, and it pulled out all the open points, draft PRs, and things that I was not aware of and added them for me to review. Quite helpful!.
Users can now auto-connect plugins when they log in to Claude, with MCP servers that accept Claude as a trusted issuer. If you’re building plugins for Claude, add support so users get started faster and stay connected without re-authorizing.

While we are worried about AI replacing Software Engineers, the tech interviews remains the same with one additional round where it is evaluated how effeciently do you make use of AI (carefully). This pushes you to remember your fundamentals while still orchestrating AI to get the job done.

The better the data quality, the better the AI will be trained, and the better it will perform. That means data is still the new oil/or maybe gold; that is why companies like MICRO1 are doing everything to get quality data.

Human skills will still be in demand and will be paid a premium, just as when factory-made stuff was available on every corner, hand-made stuff became niche and was in demand. And with AI-slops, people will admire originality more.

Have you ever tried booking tickets for a concert like the Coldplay sale on BookMyShow and ended up in the queue? Annoying, right? Why can’t the website just let everybody in? Why make us wait? Here’s the surprising answer. The queue isn’t there to punish you. It’s there to save the website and to give you a real chance at a ticket. Without it, the site would crash, and nobody would get anything. In this video, I’ll explain how these virtual waiting rooms work. We’ll look at queue tokens, how the system decides how fast to let people in, why all this happens at the “edge” of the internet, and why that number looks so scary. Our main story is the Coldplay sale on BookMyShow. Then, near the end, we’ll look at IRCTC’s festive-season rush at eight in the morning, which has the same problem but handles it a bit differently. youtu.be/prV9eDJ1k1M

Excat reason I always prefer ready-to-move in properties. It is okay if its little expensive on pocket, but you get things on time.
The worst investment I did is buying a property of Godrej- big brand bigger, bigger fraud. Bought a property in 2023, they told we will get possession in 2026 mid, forget the possession, they are telling they want to add additional floors and that too 8-9 floors, without adding any extra plot to the project. From past 3 months the CRMs has bullied, disturbed, bribed and what not for us to sign the consent form to modify the RERA, as a person who works a full time job, this kind of harassment takes a toll on mental health, as now I am paying full EMI and possession not sure when they are going to give(maybe 2028(Rera date)), the constructions they have left in mid. For Phase1 owners also they are pushing the handover deadline. This is so disappointing! and now I am stuck, so whenever you decide to buy a property in Godrej, think 100 times before.

Review is the bottleneck, this laws explains the same more technically though.
If AI makes you 10x faster at coding, why is your team not shipping 10x faster? Amdahl's law has the answer... The law says the overall speedup is capped by the part you did not speed up. With `p` as the fraction of the work you accelerate and `s` as the speedup on that fraction, speedup is computed as attached. Now plug in some numbers. Say writing code is 30% of the time from idea to production, and AI makes that part 10x faster. The overall speedup is 1 / (0.7 + 0.03), which is about 1.37x. Even if coding is half of the cycle, you get about 1.8x. These numbers are illustrative, so use your own, but the shape stays the same. The rest of the cycle is still there: - Figuring out what to build - Aligning product, design, and other teams. - Code reviews, which are now more than ever - CI and CD takes the same wall time as before. - Debugging and incidents, where code that nobody on the team wrote line by line takes longer to understand. In fact, it can get worse than Amdahl predicts. Faster code generation increases the load on every stage after it, so the review queue grows and the bottleneck shifts. A team that writes 10x more code with the same review capacity is just building a bigger queue, unfortunately So if you want the team to actually ship faster, measure the whole path from idea to production and find where work waits. Then apply AI there too: review, test generation, flaky test triage, deploy safety checks. Otherwise, you have optimized the part of the system that was never the constraint. Speeding up the typing was always the easy part :)

Ads are the primary business for Google and many big tech giants; they want to do everything to track user activity so that they can show the most personalized ads to users and increase sales for businesses. On the other side, ad blockers have to track all the ads and block them; the best approach is to block the ads before they even load and then also remove the placeholder area from the pages. It is a cat-and-mouse chase, and there are different strategies to handle this in the browser. Watch the videos in my course alpha[.]learnersbucket[.]com to get a great understanding of how it works - How ads follow you on different websites - How ad blockers stop ads before they load
