‘Learning to read for me was the best thing I have ever done. My whole time with my Coach, I was inspired to improve, to write my own short poems and to understand the deeper meaning of words and this has been very useful and successful.'

Reading develops understanding, access to knowledge & opens doors to new opportunities. It’s the real levelling up. Hope @LeedsEasy shares inspiring stories of educational revolutionaries such as #paulofreire Brazilian Educator’s legacy - to bring home the importance of it!
A great news story for you all this Friday as we say a HUGE congratulations to our reader Adam and his coach Laura!
Adam is really proud to receive his certificate for completing the first manual and would encourage anyone who struggles to read to get in touch with @ReadEasyUK
This is what we do. We’re community based and seeking funding to expand and train more coaches; in four months we’ve paired all our existing coaches with 20 (18-85 years old) readers just like Adam across Leeds.
If you can please donate below:

He's a total star and worked so hard to get to this point. Seeing him working with his coach was the highlight of my week.
