You can not fix something if you are not listening. In FL-13, our neighbors are tired of politicians like @VoteAPL who are absent and self-interested. In Congress, we are going to end corruption and cut costs — because that’s what our neighbors need.

Luna thinks the tariffs are “genius.” When residents of FL-13 go to the grocery store, they should remember that groceries are up 15% because of the tariff taxes Anna Paulina Luna voted for eight times. Tariffs are wreaking havoc on working families. Congress must reassert its authority and immediately end the administration’s illegal tariff taxes.

Think of all of the healthcare workers, parents, teachers, and first responders who are working hard and experiencing high costs because of this ongoing war with Iran. We have to put an end to it immediately, because the consequences are felt right here by our Pinellas and Pasco families and small businesses.

Have you seen these gas prices? Today marks 8 months of the war in Iran that Luna has voted six separate times to continue. Meanwhile, my neighbors are paying record-high prices for everything from gas to groceries, thanks to Luna’s rubber stamping this reckless war of choice.

In February, we were told this war would last “four to six weeks.” Eight months later, at least 22 service members are dead, 800+ more are injured, and the cost of living crisis at home is out of control. Despite the obvious and disastrous consequences of the war, Luna voted to continue it six times.

On this National First Responders Day, we celebrate those who lead with courage everyday. Across our communities, First Responders are the first on the scene to care for neighbors in need. Often at great risk to themselves. Today, and everyday, thank you for your service!

After 30 years of service, I am still committed to fighting for our country. In Congress, I am going to root out rampant corruption, tackle the affordability crisis, and deliver for our veterans. That is what it means to put service over self.

Washington politicians like Luna take advantage of the fact they get to write their own rules on corruption. Now, we are learning Luna may have been voting in Congress to turn legislative funding into cold hard cash. This type of shameless self-dealing should be illegal. Under my Anti-Corruption Agenda, it will be.

Survivors deserve accessible information, compassionate care, and the freedom to make decisions about their own body. Today and everyday, we recognize those navigating life after breast cancer and the importance of ensuring every patient understands their options, whether they choose reconstruction or not.

To lead, you have to listen. Yesterday, at the Largo VFW, veterans and retired military leaders shared what their service has meant to them and their families. Our veterans have spent their lives serving our country. In Congress, I'll make sure the voices of veterans and military families across FL-13, help shape the decisions that impact their lives.
