The year is 1873. Your wife tires easily and reads too much. The doctor prescribes the rest cure: six weeks flat in bed, no books, no visitors, fed on milk, forbidden to sit up without his permission. The man who devised it is the most famous nerve specialist in America, and the women come out of it quieter, which is taken as the cure.
The year is 1915. The hospital has a new way of delivering your child. Morphine, then scopolamine, and the mother wakes two days later with a baby she cannot remember having. They call it twilight sleep. The women are strapped into padded cots so they do not hurt themselves while they scream, and the straps are the modern part. The babies arrive blue and slow to breathe.
The year is 1945. The truck comes down your street fogging DDT, and the children run behind it in the white cloud because the man on the back says it is harmless. At the beach it is sprayed over the bathers on their towels. It goes on the cattle, over the barn, and across the kitchen table.
The year is 1948. Your son has trouble with his ears. The doctor slides a rod tipped with radium up each nostril and holds it there for the best part of ten minutes, and you bring him back three more times. Hundreds of thousands of American children get the same treatment. The cancers arrive in their fifties.
The year is 1962. The health visitor tells you breastfeeding is old-fashioned and the formula is scientific. By 1972 fewer than one American baby in four is breastfed at all. The formula is skimmed milk and sugar, with the milk fat taken out and vegetable oil put in.
The year is 1971. The family planning clinic fits a small plastic crab called the Dalkon Shield. Its tail is a bundle of fibres that wicks bacteria up into the womb. 2.8 million are fitted in America before it is withdrawn, and the company goes bankrupt under the claims. It had been sold as safe and superior.
The year is 1983. The doctor says your arteries are the butter's fault. The dripping tin goes in the bin, the yolks go to the dog, the margarine goes in the fridge, and you have the heart attack anyway, on skimmed milk, having done everything right.
The year is 2001. Your 15-year-old is low, and the doctor prescribes Paxil, because the trial in the journal says it is effective and well tolerated in adolescents. The raw data, reanalysed 14 years later, shows more suicidal thinking on the drug than on the sugar pill. The company pays $3 billion to settle. Nobody rings the house.
The year is 2009. The government has spent around £500 million stockpiling Tamiflu for the pandemic, on the strength of the manufacturer's trials. When the trials are finally prised loose five years later, the drug shortens flu by about half a day and nothing shows it keeps anyone out of hospital. The stockpile goes out of date in a warehouse.
The year is 2026. The doctor has ten minutes and a screen. The number is high, so the tablet is for life. The weight is high, so the injection is for life. The meat is bad for the planet and the oil is good for the heart, and the person in the chair is as certain as everyone who ever sat in it.
Every one of those was settled, by a committee, in a journal, with a doubter somewhere being laughed at. The rest cure, the straps, the fog, the rod, the formula, the crab, the margarine, the trial, the stockpile. All of it certain, all of it printed, all of it done to somebody who had asked for help.
You were never the one who was wrong. You were the one it was done to, and the only person in the story who did as they were told every single time.
The apology comes a generation late, in a footnote, addressed to nobody.
The next one is being drafted now.

THIS MORNING!
His ears cut off.
Beaten.
Shot in the back.
Stabbed.
This morning, cattle farmer Donovan Marx was viciously attacked on his farm between Potchefstroom and Ventersdorp in the North West. He was severely beaten. His ears were cut off. He was shot in the back/shoulder (doctors were still trying to remove the bullet) and stabbed in the leg with a sharp object. He’s fighting for his life in a Potchefstroom hospital.
A family member left the farm shortly before 8am. Attackers then struck. A farm worker was tied up but managed to free himself and raise the alarm. The attackers fled in Marx’s truck. They’re still free. VF Plus says the full details of the torture are so disturbing they won’t even publish them.
This is not “ordinary crime.” This is the same pattern of extreme brutality; ears severed, severe beatings, shootings, stabbings that has been targeting White farmers for years. English media is already silent. No front-page outrage. No presidential condemnation. If the roles were reversed, it would dominate news for weeks.

Wow. A 12 year old girl made a pretend cafe with her teddy bears, at her parents home in their barn… and here comes a council official to check there is no real cafe…..
Shame they aren’t such stringent checks on all the barbers and vape shops setting up everywhere
For those of you who thought the visit from a Bedford Borough Council official to investigate our daughter Zoe’s (age 12) pretend teddy bear cafe was too ridiculous to be real, here is the arrival of official. This is totally legit. She really did show up at our property to investigate the illegal teddy bears having their coffee🧸🧸☕️☕️

🚨🔥While the ANC Hands South Africa to Criminals, Afrikaners Built a Town With Zero Murders, Safe Streets and a Brand-New Boarding School
Orania is the proof‼️💯🌱
A town built and run entirely by Afrikaners. No ANC money. No ANC control. No farm attacks. No street crime children walk and cycle to school every day. Parents sleep with their doors unlocked 💯
They just expanded their own school and boarding facilities built by their own hands, paid for with their own money, taught in Afrikaans, grounded in Christian values. Matrics pass at 100%. A trade college is growing so fast they’re adding workshops and hostels. Teachers, parents and kids plant the rugby fields themselves.
While the rest of the country begs for police that never come, Orania keeps its streets clean and safe with community responsibility and a simple rule: only people who want to build, not destroy, get to live there.
This is what happens when Afrikaners stop waiting for a failed government and start building for their children’s future.
Orania is showing the world exactly how great Afrikaners are 🌱🎬🎥

The calf was born last night. The bear showed up this morning... Our donkey went at it before the cow even knew it was there. Braying, rearing, kicking. The bear went back into the woods, and the calf stood up for the first time right after.

⚠️ An 82 year old Grandma from Leeds has declared WAR on corporate greed by setting up a stall outside her local Morrisons selling her collection of second hand carrier bags, after being enraged at the supermarket charging an extortionate 60p per bag! 😲
"I've been hoarding these bloody things for 30 years!" she explained. "I've got hundreds under the kitchen sink, cupboards full of them and thousands piled up in the garden shed!"
The pensioner pocketed a whopping £13.40 on her first day and insists she'll be back tomorrow, claiming she's got enough bags at home to keep her in business until 2029.

🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting in Florida after deputies say a Black male bus aide was CAUGHT ON CAMERA SLAPPING a NONVERBAL 9-year-old boy with autism IN THE FACE, while the boy was HARNESSED to his seat...
...and prosecutors REFUSED to file a single charge!!!
His mother’s name is Angelina Valdez, her son is 9 years old, and he is nonverbal.
He can’t come home and tell his mom what happened to him on the bus.
On January 9th, he came home with an injury, and his mother called deputies to his elementary school in Ruskin.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office pulled the bus footage.
Deputies say it shows 79-year-old bus Black aide James Savage striking the boy and then Savage TOOK OFF HIS HAT and SLAPPED the boy across the face with it.
According to the arrest affidavit, the boy was HARNESSED TO HIS SEAT the entire time.
Savage was ARRESTED that same day and charged with child abuse, but then the charges were dropped, Savage lost his job, and that’s it.
The mother is now suing the school.

Saturday 20 February 1999. Fred Wallis Pettit (79), Landskrona farm, about 13 km outside Queenstown (now Komani) on the N6, Eastern Cape.
Another South African farmer, another gentle soul butchered on the land he worked. Fred Wallis Pettit lived alone on Landskrona. A former chartered accountant who took up farming, long time Rotarian, and former president of the Eastern Agricultural Union. The Daily Dispatch reported that a Queenstown shopping centre was named after him. His friend Jack Hodgskiss described him as “a gentle, soft spoken man who had no enemies.”
Farmworkers last saw him alive at around 6 pm on the Saturday. At 6 am the next morning, a worker arrived to milk the cows, rang the bell for him to open the stalls, and got no answer. He and a second worker found a lounge window open and ran to a neighboring farm for help. Police and family were called. His nephew, Tim Pettit, found him dead on the lounge floor.
He had been stabbed many times in the upper body; repeated, deep wounds driven into his chest, torso, and upper body while he was alone in his own home. An elderly White man, a community leader with no enemies, left bleeding out on his lounge floor after an attacker (or attackers) forced entry through the window and attacked him with a knife over and over. No mercy for the 79-year-old who had spent years serving agriculture and his community.
This is the reality of farm attacks in South Africa; soft-spoken White farmers, Rotarians, former union leaders, slaughtered in their homes with nothing taken that justifies the savagery. Stabbed repeatedly until they could no longer fight or call for help. And it has been going on for decades while the same patterns continue.
