my opinion on any alters that are different from the physical reality of the body is idgaf as long as they aren't speaking over ppl who are physically that thing or using it to be bigoted. goes for race, gender, whatever.

the worst part of having a dissociative disorder is having to come to terms with the horrible things in my life over and over. just once isn’t enough. the host accepts it, the ones in charge accept it, the ones it affected the most accept it. it’s never ending realizations

Parts. Self states. Headmates. Alters. Others. The voices. My guys. My gremlins. My brain. My little freaks. Bitches in my head. My brain worms. My ???s. Brain squatters. Them. You know, the guys. The cats and dogs smacking each other in my head. The children demanding snacks.

is anybody else terrified that they’re perpetually on thin ice with all of their friends. Like no matter how big or small if i do something that bothers one of my friends i immediately think “that was probably the last straw and i’ve really pushed them away forever this time”

i don't bother with tracking parts that exist to do a single purpose because most of them find their ways into clusters that kinda just look like this

ALT image of a circle with several other littler circles within it, it is captioned "anatomy of an alter" there is a larger green circle within labelled "the actual fully fledged guy" whilst the rest are coloured red and labelled "random fragments that assume the identity of said alter for fun i guess"

one of the hardest parts of this system thing to deal with is my inability to have a solid identity no matter how bad i want one so i constantly find us desperately clinging to names and faces that are starting to not feel right and i just have to live with losing that

People in DID spaces will genuinely get mad at you for having memory issues when it’s inconvenient for them like we don’t have the forget everything disorder bruh

The reason this is iOS only is bc this is completely self funded and executed. In order for my brushes to work well I knew I had to do iOS and hire developers that specialized in that. But the more I learn and if the app is successful this all may change!

how it feels when you have obvious mental health issues but nobody seems to give a shit
