🌱 If Cannabis is so nutritious, why don't we know more about its potential as food?
@LibertarianIndy of the @FoodFirstUS Initiative explains how decades of prohibition limited research and public understanding of cannabis hemp's nutritional value. The 2018 Farm Bill changed that by removing hemp from the Controlled Substances Act, opening the door to legal research, education, and new opportunities.

Our elected representative refused to join us on stage at his alma mater, Indiana University South Bend, Wiecamp Hall last evening for Indiana’s 2nd Congressional District Debate. This is the third election cycle he has refused to participate in public debates, nonpartisan town halls, and forums; sending a clear message of a lack of transparency and an exclusive closed-door policy. He continues to ignore the will of those who voted for him, and is campaigning in other states for other candidates, rather than meeting and speaking with his own constituents in a nonpartisan setting.
Looking forward to meeting and speaking with everyone at the Middlebury Public Library!
The program starts at 6pm, Thursday, October 22nd, and will be held in the Middlebury Library community rooms at 101 E. Winslow Street, Middlebury, IN 46540.
