If naming airports or Government schemes after the name of Gandhi family was wrong then how come giving Modi's name to airports is right?
This will set a new precedence, a new competition, If Yogi ji is doing it then why not us? Tomorrow Rekha Gupta will do it, day after tomorrow Bhajan Lal Sharma, then Mohan Yadav then someone else.
I think it is better to name the Airport after Atal ji or Savarkar ji, or may be Golvalkar ji.
You could have chosen the name of Local Freedom Fighter May be Mangal Pandey who comes from UP itself.
Or may be any Hindu ruler of that area May be Maharaja Surajmal (Hails from western UP), or Samrath Hemu who also hails from western UP.
