Their reasoning for removing the Mario paintings makes sense. I don’t really like it when Nintendo games imply an interconnected universe outside of Smash, especially not Zelda. But replacing them with a tapestry that depicts the entire game’s story is objectively worse

If you realy see games as art there is no problem in calling Mario or Tetris or whatever art, hell even Fifa is art, not good art thats for sure but its still art. art isnt only "the good games" or "oh wow i played shadow of the collosus for the first time this game is art"

Like stuff that's almost entirely gameplay focused and fits into a specific single player or co-op genre, that's toys. Multiplayer games that are mostly about competing against someone else, that's sports. Story driven or more esoteric games, that's art. Do you get what I mean?
