"I’m not going to say we don’t need him, but the money that it costs to bring Mike Perry back to BKFC, doesn’t make a lot of sense for us right now. … No animosity at all."

TYSON TRADED LEGACY FOR MONEY IN RIGGED JAKE PAUL BOUT
Mike Tyson stepped in against Jake Paul at fifty-eight solely for the cash, holding back the explosive power that built his legend.
What unfolded was a cautious exhibition where Iron Mike conserved energy and rarely unloaded, making the fight look staged and predetermined.
Jake Paul controlled every exchange with volume while Tyson shelled up early, proving he was protecting himself and the payday over pride.
Referees scored it 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73 for Paul by unanimous decision, locking in the outcome that felt scripted from the opening bell.
Epic moments were rare as Tyson’s early left hooks faded fast, replaced by defensive holding and almost no real threat to Jake Paul.
Paul’s closing bow and show of respect only highlighted how Tyson deliberately dialed back aggression to keep the spectacle safe and profitable.
Ultimately Jake Paul took the win while Mike Tyson sold his unbreakable legacy for money in a busted, fake contest.

LENNOX LEWIS HALTS TOMMY MORRISON IN ATLANTIC CITY
Lennox Lewis and Tommy Morrison clashed on October 7, 1995, for the IBC heavyweight title before 8,369 fans.
Lewis controlled from the start with a sharp jab and left-hand combinations that kept Morrison at bay.
In the second, a short left hook dropped Morrison to a knee and opened a cut over his right eye.
Morrison rallied in the fourth, landing body shots and earning the round on two cards, but Lewis stayed composed.
A monumental right uppercut floored Morrison late in the fifth; all three judges scored it 49-44 or 50-43 for Lewis after five.
In the sixth, two more knockdowns left Morrison’s eyes swollen shut; referee Mills Lane stopped it at 1:22 for a decisive TKO.

📅 52 YEARS AGO TODAY, BOXING HISTORY WAS MADE 🥊🔥
Muhammad Ali stepped into the ring against the seemingly unstoppable George Foreman, a man many believed was too powerful to defeat. But Ali had other plans.
In one of the greatest performances ever witnessed, Ali used his intelligence, patience, and legendary rope-a-dope strategy to wear Foreman down before delivering the historic 8th-round finish.
This wasn't just a victory; it was a statement that changed boxing forever. 👑

Thirty-nine years ago today, Thomas Hearns became the first man in boxing history to win world titles in four weight classes.
He did it against Juan Domingo Roldan for the vacant WBC middleweight belt in Las Vegas, with Mills Lane refereeing. Hearns dropped Roldan twice in the first round, got wobbled by a left hook in the fourth, then finished him at 2:01. He was paid $1.1 million, Roldan $250,000. The WBO didn't even exist yet.
Today every division has four major belts plus interims, and titles get collected like fridge magnets. Should a modern four-division champion count the same as Hearns?

This is Conor McGregor’s UFC debut — and he announced himself with a strong hook of pure technical composure under fire. With so much pride and arrogance before and after the fight
Brimage came out emotionally charged and aggressive, landing early power shots as he tried to steamroll the hyped newcomer. McGregor absorbed the pressure in his wide, bladed southpaw stance, using crisp footwork and angle changes to stay out of danger before countering with sharp uppercuts that cracked Brimage’s chin and put him on skates.
From there it was clinical: more uppercuts mixed with straight shots, followed by ground-and-pound to seal the 67-second TKO. What stood out wasn’t just the power or the finish, but the calm distance management and counter-striking that turned Brimage’s over-aggression against him. Even in his first Octagon appearance, the blueprint of McGregor’s prime style was already locked in.
