one year ago today, @Pumpfun posted this
back then, “lock in your cult before Valhalla” sounded like pure trench humor. a year later, memecoin culture is bigger, faster, and more community-driven than ever
safe to say this aged well
Everyone Made It. Except the One Who Helped.
I watched two ants reach a leaf, and somehow all I could think about was being the friend nobody checks on.
The clip lasts only a few seconds. Three ants are trying to reach a leaf above them. One becomes the support the others need. They climb. They make it.
The one who helped stays behind.
It stands at the edge of a rusty-looking rod, antennae reaching toward the place everyone else just went.
I kept watching that last part.
Maybe you know why.
You’ve been the person who answers the late-night call. The one who makes the introduction, does the extra work, stays a little longer. You’re happy to help. You want the people around you to make it.
Then something happens in your own life, and you find yourself scrolling through your contacts, wondering who you can actually call.
That’s what I saw in this little ant.
I know we’re putting a human story onto a few seconds of insect behavior. We don’t know what happened before the recording or after it stopped. We certainly don’t know what those ants were thinking.
But the feeling it brings up? That part needs no explanation.
There’s a particular loneliness in being useful to everyone and wondering whether anyone would stay if you had nothing left to give.
Watching the clip, I started thinking: Could this little ant become a great meme?
It already has something you can’t manufacture with a clever caption. You look at it and remember a moment from your own life. Different people, different circumstances, the same small ache.
So I decided to find out where the video came from.
The version I first saw was a short, black-and-white YouTube edit with motivational text and a large logo. I wanted to find the footage underneath all of that.
The trail took me back to a [post by Ben Phillips on October 20, 2021](). His post pointed to a video from another account, @HolyCow_Inc, which is now suspended. That leaves a gap: I could trace an early share, but I couldn’t verify who filmed it or where it first appeared.
I also found a [color version posted in December 2022](tiktok.com/@cirruslyyesterda…) and a [16-second repost from August 2024](facebook.com/UtterlyInterest…).
Seeing it in color made me appreciate how little the scene needs. A green leaf. A narrow gap. One small ant still reaching.
I think there’s a memorable character here. I’d want its story to leave room for the people who still help, even after they’ve been let down. The people who would recognize that last ant immediately—and might be the first to reach back for it.
If you know who filmed this, have seen an earlier upload, or have a cleaner copy, please share it in the comments. I’d love to find the original and give the person behind the camera proper credit.
And I’d really like to know what happened after the clip ended.
I’m still hoping someone came back. nitter.cf/benphillips76/status/1…
I first came across this short video on YouTube. It was a black-and-white edit with motivational text and a large logo, but the little ant underneath all of that stayed with me. I wanted to find a cleaner version, and learn where the footage originally came from.
This is the saddest movie ever made nitter.cf/HolyCow_Inc/status/145…
We’re getting pretty close to a world where AI agents aren’t limited to execute tasks.
They start coordinating resources around the task themselves.
This part of the conversation with B3IQ actually stucked with me.
Once agents can bring in other agents + allocate compute as needed, the question shifts from “what can this model do?” to what an autonomous system can assemble around itself.
Will be a much bigger unlock than simply making models smarter.
I saw that @zora is getting a second launch with a pretty different starting point.
~63k weekly active users already across web + mobile, ~22k of them in the US.
Dee says they were doing 1–2k app installs a day the last time they really pushed acquisition.
Now they’re preparing ~$10m for referrals, onboarding, competitions and community incentives.
So, there’s already a crowd in the room before they start spending to fill it.
Crypto put stocks onchain just so someone could eventually pair them against memes.
@zora Custom Pairs lets you choose what a token trades against: memes, majors, even tokenized stocks.
Sounds crazy but also very crypto-native.
Personally I think the interesting part is letting people create markets, beyond merely trade them.
Now that whole flow sits inside the mobile app.
When one guy is looking for balance and another guy is willing to sacrifice balance completely, the difference eventually shows.
Exciting UFC fights coming up - I'll be dropping my predictions on Betwave
When I was writing my prediction about Makhachev, I mentioned that it's impossible to beat a man who lives like a cyborg and does nothing but train. And I wasn't even surprised when he won, because it's the logical result of thousands of hours of hard work, with no room for anything else.
His friend and mentor Khabib is the same story. Each of them has devoted his entire conscious life to this sport and sacrifices everything to become the best at it. They have no distractions from other areas of life, no social life, no compromises. They dominate not because of genetics or where they're from, but because of extreme focus on one goal, the everyday choice to do the same thing over and over.
Their whole life is training + training, sometimes a break for cheesecake after cutting weight.
You have balance, a little of this + a little of that.
How are you going to beat them?
It's hard to achieve massive success in something you're not obsessed with. Even if you simply compare, many of their opponents don't have such an approach, not everyone is ready to turn their life into a strict monastic routine for the sake of a championship belt.
Maybe that's why one of them remained undefeated, while the other has 17 wins in a row in the UFC. And sure, they'll definitely think about balance, but only after the win.
As crypto trader stocks force you to get better at separating good news from a surprise.
A company can beat earnings and still dump because the market was already positioned for something even better.
Sounds obvious until you realize how often we make the exact same mistake in crypto with listings, unlocks, upgrades and announcements.
This was probably my favorite point skimming through the new @MEXC Investor Handbook.
- First figure out what the market expected
- Then ask what actually changed
- Only after that look at how price reacted
If estimates kept moving higher into earnings and the stock already rallied hard, a small beat might not be much of a surprise at all.
Understanding a new market sometimes teaches you more about the one you already trade!

Privacy infrastructure is starting to move beyond simple private transactions
@BeldexCoin’s roadmap caught my attention because they’re pushing toward a full privacy focused stack
Cross chain infrastructure comes next, followed by an EVM sidechain for private dApps and confidential DeFi.
Then comes AI infrastructure with confidential compute.
If they execute this roadmap well, $BDX could become interesting to watch as privacy and AI continue to converge.

Most crypto cards focus on spending
@LBank_Exchange is trying to make the other side useful too. LBank Card combines everyday crypto payments with cashback, referral rewards and yield opportunities for idle USDT
There’s also a campaign live where both you and your invited friend can earn 10 USDT after completing the required card tasks.
Crypto payments are getting a lot more practical.
$BTC just broke above $85K for the first time in 8 months.
Over $648M in shorts were liquidated across the market in the last 24 hours, while the latest US spot BTC ETF session recorded $433M in net inflows.
Now the key is whether BTC can hold this breakout instead of giving it back.
$85K is the level I’m watching closely.
$BTC is approaching a weekly level that has mattered across multiple market cycles
Galaxy Research notes that the 50-week moving average stood near $81.5K on September 2. In four of the five completed Bitcoin bear markets that lost this level, the first sustained weekly reclaim coincided with the market bottom already being in.
The exception matters: an intraday move above the average is not the same as a confirmed weekly close. Holding the level—and absorbing long-term-holder supply around $83K–$86K—would provide stronger evidence than a brief breakout.
This is less a prediction than a useful historical framework. Is Bitcoin following the majority of past cycles, or preparing to repeat the exception?
$BTC stays flat at $78k while Japan’s 10-year jgb just hit its highest yield since 1996.
Such a divergence should worry both sides of the debasement trade.
Japan 30-year yield closed at a record 4.18%. the 10-year broke 3% for the first time in three decades.
The us 10-year pushed to 4.78%.
A setup like this was called by arthur hayes earlier:
- Treasury runs out of room
- Yields force the fed's hand toward the fima repo facility
- Japan borrows dollars against its own treasuries to defend the yen without dumping bonds
Bessent hinting at fima use in august, then doubling the buyback ceiling to $4b, looks like confirmation.
If that liquidity actually lands, it's the clean bullish catalyst for btc and gold.
But price is not moving for now, still stuck in the 76-82k range, with resistance up to 86k.

the signs are starting to line up
@moonpay is seeing real momentum across the ecosystem
feels like crypto is waking up again
A market turn is never proven by one chart, one company or one week. It is revealed when independent signals begin to converge.
Last week was @moonpay’s strongest since early June. More important is the consistency beneath it: Volume rose week-over-week and every weekday finished above its recent norm.
This was also not an isolated burst. Momentum built and held with no anomalous days.
That matters because @moonpay is not looking at the Crypto ecosystem through a "keyhole."
Our "Operating System for Value" powers nearly 500 companies across DeFi and provides access to more than 200 blockchains and protocols. That reach does not prove that every integration, token or market moved in unison. It does, however, provide us a meaningful view into how people and businesses move between fiat and digital assets.
Volume cannot explain motive but it does highlight direction.
And, right now, that direction is clear: Activity strengthened across the week, remained elevated over several weeks and was not driven by a single burst.
Momentum is not proof but neither is it noise.
So is this a Bull market for Crypto?
It may be too early to declare one but it is not too early to recognize that the ecosystem is growing stronger. 🚀🟣
Outcome Markets are Live
@Outcomexyz just launched on @HyperliquidX with $1M in rewards
Prediction markets are heating up and this feels like the start of a much bigger chapter
Watch this space, anon
Crypto is moving, but conviction still looks thin
With $BTC near $77.7K, price remains caught between major liquidity zones around $74K and $84K. $ETH is holding near $2.4K as strong ETF demand and improving momentum keep traders watching closely. This is a market for confirmation, not forced entries.
Patience now could be the edge everyone misses
Extreme greed is back. Is the top already in?
The Crypto Fear and Greed Index just hit 82 as bitcoin:native reclaimed $80K. Some see a local top, but strong bull markets can stay overheated much longer than expected
Greed is a warning, not a sell signal
