The @LimbKind Foundation provides free prostheses to children with limb loss around the world. Currently we travel to Haiti, Ethiopia, and the Philippines, and we'll soon be providing prostheses in Kenya and Sri Lanka.

Every one of the children took the time to write cards filled with thankfulness and gratitude for the Limb Kind team and for their new prostheses. This is just one example of the beautiful words they shared with us, and reading these messages was incredibly emotional. (1/3)
They reminded us that what we provide is so much more than a prosthesis. It’s confidence, independence, opportunity, and hope. But what these children may not realize is how much they have given to us in return. (2/3)
Their courage, resilience, smiles, and love have touched our hearts in ways we will carry with us forever. These cards are coming home with us, but a piece of our hearts will always remain here with these incredible kids.

Today, every child received a Copy Cub, a stuffed animal with a prosthesis on the same side and limb as theirs! Their faces lit up when they saw their new friends were just like them... and the best part? Tomorrow, it’s their turn! facebook.com/reel/1418378333…
We started today a full day behind, but this stellar team had other plans! This morning, we casted all of the children, and this afternoon, we modified every single cast, two full days of work packed into ONE!

WE MADE IT TO SRI LANKA! Our luggage had other plans. Our suitcases filled with prosthetic supplies, tools, and equipment decided to extend their vacation somewhere along the way. But the good news is —they’re scheduled to arrive tomorrow morning!

After yesterday’s molds were carefully shaped to fit each child, our prosthetists wrapped them with layers of specialized fabric. Every layer is placed by hand, and every socket is crafted with precision, care, and a whole lot of heart!❤️
