Creighton converts its third match point to defeat Marquette 16-14 in the fifth set. The teams are now tied atop the Big East at 9-2.
Shadd-Ceres led the Jays with 16 kills and 10 digs. Paymal added 13 kills. Brandewie had 11 kills and 9 blocks.
Tyler led Marquette with 22K.
Nebraska sent out information to non-season ticket holders about postseason volleyball tickets for the first two weekends, should the Huskers host.
Registration requires a $20 non refundable deposit. Ticket order is based on priority points on Oct. 23 and limited to two tickets per accounts.
Good news from Purdue’s Kenna Wollard! The All-American outside hitter announced on Instagram that she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in August, and after undergoing treatment, is on track to remission.

Harper Murray will make one more trip to her hometown this weekend as Nebraska plays at Michigan on Friday night. Murray will be welcomed back by almost 1,000 people associated with Legacy Volleyball Club.
“It’s going to be a fun day,” Murray said.

Cal sweeps No. 18 Stanford 23, 20, 25 for its first win over the Cardinal since Feb. 12, 2021.
Zimmerman finishes with 12 kills while Agolli had 11. The Golden Bears hit .296 as Flores has 37 assists and 22 digs.

Yes! I failed to check @Evollve before the show. I did afterwards and learned that Nebraska's back row attacks are not too far off from the previous years, with a 1% difference coming out to 1 per match.

One of the best aspects of Nebraska's play last weekend was a 67.5% Good Pass percentage over 2 matches.
Part of that was USC's malpractice of serving 2/3 of balls at Olivia Mauch.

The ACC, SEC and Big 12 are consistent with this.
However, the Big Ten actually DOES allow players who redshirted their freshman year last season to win the weekly and postseason freshman awards.
