NBA Key Slate Notes 📝
By @Ryan_Humphries
1st Night of B2B: Suns (DK Main only)
2nd Night of B2B: None
DK Main / FD Main (8 Shared Games)
• Chicago/New York stands out: The Bulls lead the NBA in pace while allowing a league-high 128.9 PPG. That's a substantial pace-up spot for New York, which ranks 29th in pace and carries a slate-high 123-point implied total. Josh Hart is also OUT, leaving some additional opportunities for the Knicks' remaining starters. The 12.5-point spread is the main concern.
• Boston without Tatum: Jayson Tatum is OUT for rest, and Payton Pritchard is QUESTIONABLE. Paul George and Derrick White should handle more offensive responsibility, while Pritchard and some of Boston's cheaper wings become interesting depending on who's available. Milwaukee ranks third in pace and has allowed 124.1 PPG, although Boston is a sizable favorite.
• Atlanta/Washington injury uncertainty: Jalen Johnson is QUESTIONABLE after missing Monday, potentially leaving Nickeil Alexander-Walker and CJ McCollum with additional work. Alex Sarr and Bilal Coulibaly are also QUESTIONABLE for Washington, making Anthony Davis and some cheaper Wizards worth monitoring. The close spread and high total give this matchup plenty of DFS potential.
• Indiana's rotation could look very different: Tyrese Haliburton remains OUT, while Kelly Oubre Jr., Obi Toppin, and Ivica Zubac are QUESTIONABLE. Andrew Nembhard and Pascal Siakam are back after sitting Monday, so another six-man rotation isn't a reasonable expectation. Nembhard, Quenton Jackson, Jarace Walker, and Jay Huff are worth considering, depending on who suits up. If several questionable players sit, Monday's deep punts – Braden Smith, Jalen Slawson, and Kobe Brown – deserve another look, too.
• Oklahoma City's injury situation: Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams, and Cason Wallace remain OUT, with Jaylin Williams QUESTIONABLE. SGA continues to carry a huge offensive workload, while Isaiah Hartenstein could see additional minutes if Jaylin sits. Cleveland is also without Jaylon Tyson and Peyton Watson, creating opportunities for its cheaper perimeter players.
• Utah/New Orleans frontcourts: Jaren Jackson Jr. remains OUT for Utah, while Mo Bamba is QUESTIONABLE. New Orleans will be without Yves Missi, and Trey Murphy III is QUESTIONABLE. Saddiq Bey, Karlo Matković, and some of the Jazz's available bigs are worth investigating in one of the slate's better scoring environments.
DK Main Only – Late-Game Notes
• Minnesota/Houston: Anthony Edwards remains sidelined following knee surgery, and Terrence Shannon Jr. is also OUT. LaMelo Ball and Ayo Dosunmu have taken on additional backcourt responsibilities. Houston is missing Steven Adams and Clint Capela, although this is one of the lower-total matchups on the DK slate.
• Portland/Phoenix: Ja Morant remains OUT, keeping Damian Lillard, Jrue Holiday, and Deni Avdija heavily involved. Donovan Clingan has also been productive with Portland's depleted rotation. The close spread makes this an intriguing late-game spot despite Phoenix's frontcourt uncertainty.
• Toronto/Denver: Kawhi Leonard is OUT, and Jakob Poeltl is QUESTIONABLE. Scottie Barnes should continue handling a substantial workload, while RJ Barrett and Ja'Kobe Walter could benefit further if Poeltl sits. Nikola Jokić is the obvious spend-up on Denver's side.

STATEMENT FROM JACK CAMPBELL
My family and I want to sincerely thank everyone for the overwhelming amount of love, prayers, and support we’ve received over the past few days. It means more to us than words can express.
I’m incredibly encouraged by the progress I’ve made in such a short period of time. I have full movement in my lower body, and I’m continuing to make progress with movement in my upper body. I know there’s still work ahead, but I remain very optimistic. I’m taking things one day at a time, staying positive, and focusing on getting better.
My faith in God has never been stronger. I know He has a plan for me, and I trust in that plan. I know there may be challenges ahead, but with my faith, my family, and so many people in my corner, I know we’ll get through this.
I especially want to thank the athletic trainers and medical personnel who responded and cared for me on the field. I know those were difficult moments, and I’m incredibly grateful for the professionalism, compassion, and care you showed me. The way you handled everything and looked after me when I needed it most is something I’ll never forget. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
I also can’t say enough about the incredible care I’ve received from the medical team at Henry Ford Hospital and the Detroit Lions medical staff. They’ve been amazing to me and my family throughout this process, and I’m truly grateful for everything they’ve done.
To my teammates, coaches, and everyone in the Lions organization, I want you to know how much I love and appreciate you. This team is a family to me, and the way everyone has been there for me means everything. I’m proud to be a Detroit Lion and couldn’t ask to be surrounded by a better group of people.
One thing I’ve learned about Detroit is that this city is built on toughness, resilience, and grit. That’s exactly how I’m going to approach this challenge.
Please continue to keep me and my family in your prayers. We feel the love, and I can’t thank everyone enough.
God is good. My faith is strong.

WEEK 8 SNAP COUNT NEWS AND NOTES 🏈
🔹 ARI: Gardner Minshew replaced Brissett and is set to start Week 9. Jeremiyah Love got hurt again and has been placed on IR. Tyler Allgeier appears to have retaken the ARI backfield with Love out. Kendrick Bourne was placed on IR
🔹 ATL: 2nd straight week with Kyle Pitts at only a 55% snap count
🔹 BAL: Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley both got hurt, and the Ravens now have Joe Fagnano as their starting QB
🔹 BUF: James Cook got banged up and only had a 54% snap count. Dalton Kincaid only had 57% coming off the bye. I wouldn’t look too much into the low snap counts with the blowout win
🔹 CAR: Chuba with a 92% snap count! Tommy Tremble/Darren Waller at 60/62% of snaps. CAR is playing a ton of 2 TE sets with Mitchell Evans also working in 32% of snaps
🔹 CHI: Swift with a 77% snap share. Luther Burden’s snaps stayed about the same (57%). With no Cole Kmet, Sam Roush’s snaps were up to 53%
🔹 CIN: Mike Gesicki 68% of snaps in a trailing game script with no Erick All. Chase Brown still commanding the backfield lead at a 69% snap share
🔹 CLE: Judkins only a 39% snap share with Sampson at 56%
🔹 DAL: Pickens 57% of snaps, Flournoy 68%, the second straight week Flournoy outsnapped Pickens. Ferguson got hurt and Spann-Ford had 88% of the snaps
🔹 DEN: JK Dobbins only 21% of snaps, Jonah Coleman with 66%!!!! Jaylen Waddle only played 45%, the 3rd most WR snaps on his team. Franklin 71%, Sutton 81%
🔹 DET: They are who they are. No surprises
🔹 GB: Josh Jacobs 71% snap rate. Christian Watson went to the hospital mid game and returned. Bo Melton saw an increase in snaps with that, but it’s not sticky unless Watson gets hurt
🔹 HOU: BYE
🔹 IND: The wheels are falling off in Indy. Tyler Warren was back and played 72%. Who gets traded this week?
🔹 JAC: Tuten 50% of snaps in a blowout and absolutely CRUSHED, BUT he has missed practice 2 days this week. Brian Thomas Jr. up to 52% of snaps with Meyers limited and only at 54%
🔹 KC: Emmett Johnson 30%, Kenneth Walker 74%. Rashee Rice back and played 57% of snaps with Cyrus Allen up to 45%
🔹 LVR: Mike Washington with 60% of snaps, Jeanty only 40%. WRs Tucker/Nailor/Bech all between 40% and 54%
🔹 LAC: Vidal 46% of snaps, Hampton 30%, Mitchell 31%. Ladd McConkey 90%, and Week 3 is the only other time he’s been over 50% this year. Coming off the bye, is that sticky?
🔹 LAR: With Parkinson out, Max Klare got to 46% of snaps. WR2 and WR3 are Mumpfield and Atwell
🔹 MIA: Dulcich 69% of snaps, Douglas 86%, back to his early season snap counts. Gordon is the clear RB1
🔹 MIN: Aaron Jones, Jordan Mason, and DeeJay Dallas all at a 28-40% snap share with Jones leading the way
🔹 NE: No TreVeyon. Stevenson with 77% of snaps. Kyle Williams jumped to 83% with no AJ Brown! Raridon at 92% with Henry leaving the game early
🔹 NO: BYE
🔹 NYG: BYE
🔹 NYJ: Braelon with 83% of snaps, clear RB1 without Breece. Omar Cooper ran 78% of the snaps. Adonai Mitchell had a huge game but only had 61%. Sadiq up to 48% of snaps from 35/37% the 2 weeks prior
🔹 PHI: Elijah Mitchell 57% of snaps, Barkley being eased back in with only 32%
🔹 PIT: Jaylen Warren 58%, Rico Dowdle 47%
🔹 SF: BYE
🔹 SEA: Jadarian Price 48%, Zach Charbonnet 37%, no Shaheed. JSN 97%, Kupp 92%, Horton 68%
🔹 TB: Gainwell/Irving a 50/50 split, both with a huge workload in a game where Mayfield threw 3 passes with 0 completions
🔹 TEN: No Spears or Tate. Pollard 82% of snaps, Dike up to 82%, Robinson 94%
🔹 WAS: McNichols got hurt. White 47%, Ekeler 33%. Antonio Williams with 83% of snaps leading the WR room, Okonkwo 77%
WEEK 7 SNAP COUNT NOTES 🏈
🔹 ARI: Without Jeremiyah Love again, Bam Knight had 53% of snaps to Allgeier’s 47%. Kendrick Bourne is still a part time player after the Harrison trade: 49%, 57%, 56% in Weeks 5, 6, and 7. Jalen Brooks’ snaps are going up, 64% last week
🔹 ATL: For the second week in a row, Zachariah Branch was over 30% of snaps (33%). Kyle Pitts fell to 55%
🔹 BAL: Lamar Jackson still out. Ja’Kobi Lane up to 69% of snaps, Bateman 73%, Tez Walker 30%
🔹 BUF: BYE
🔹 CAR: Blowout, so you can’t take much from the snap counts when Kenny Pickett ends up playing over 20% of snaps and not due to injury
🔹 CHI: Roschon Johnson’s snap share fell to 14%, Swift at 86%! Luther Burden continues to play limited snaps, but Cole Kmet is now done for the season, so there could be more 3 WR sets. In Kmet down snap weeks, the additional snaps have gone to Kalif Raymond and Luther Burden, and we can expect that to likely continue
🔹 CIN: Post bye, Chase Brown got back to 75% of snaps. Erick All may have torn his ACL again
🔹 CLE: Dylan Sampson back and played 46% of snaps, Judkins 53%
🔹 DAL: Flournoy out-snapped Pickens 78% to 60%. The TE split continues: Ferguson 56%, Brevyn Spann-Ford 53%
🔹 DEN: Jonah Coleman off IR and played 49% of snaps, Dobbins 23%, Harvey 26%. Evan Engram a season-low 39%
🔹 DET: They are who they are. Brock Wright got a boost in snaps with TeSlaa down last week, and that’s pretty much the only changing factor from week to week
🔹 GB: Josh Jacobs is back and played 52% of snaps. Savion Williams up to 60%
🔹 HOU: Marvin Harrison still very limited at 21% of snaps; Tank Dell played 23%. They have 6 WRs playing over 20% of snaps
🔹 IND: Seth McGowan 34% of snaps, a season high. Are they seeing what they have in him before a Taylor trade? No Tyler Warren again; Mo Alie-Cox played 67%
🔹 JAC: BYE
🔹 KC: Cyrus Allen played 30% of snaps, up from 15% in Week 6. Royals at 68% but not being targeted
🔹 LVR: Jeanty up to 72% of snaps; he seems to be getting healthier. Tucker 82%, Nailor 75%
🔹 LAC: Much-needed BYE
🔹 LAR: Kyren/Corum 51% to 44%. Without Davante, Mumpfield 43% and Atwell 35%. 3 TEs played 69%+ (Higbee, Parkinson, Allen)
🔹 MIA: Ollie Gordon 83% of snaps. Douglas returned and played 68%
🔹 MIN: Jordan Mason 64% of snaps; Aaron Jones got hurt and played 25%
🔹 NE: Stevenson 69% of snaps, Henderson 24% (second straight week at 24%). Corey Kiner was involved early but still only played 11%. AJ Brown 91%, Kyle Williams played 39%, his highest of the season
🔹 NO: Kamara 56% of snaps. Bryce Lance up to 79%, his second-highest of the season
🔹 NYG: Skattebo up to 56% of snaps but got banged up late. Tracy only played 15% and Singleterry 29%. Likely 86%. Looks like McCarthy will be staying as the starting QB
🔹 NYJ: Adonai Mitchell 44%, Cooper 64%. Braelon Allen played 78%, but Breece will probably be back next week
🔹 PHI: Saquon only played 15% of snaps, Pierce 64%. Hollywood Brown was active and played 55%

The Ravens had 3 QBs throw a pass in the first half Sunday. First team since the 2017 Cowboys.
Now Lamar’s on IR, Huntley’s toe is in question, and their next 2 games are TNF and MNF.
The whole country is about to watch the Joe Fagnano experience. Good news: the long layoff before MNF gives Baltimore time to make a move.
