This was really good. And a super revelatory point from @minakimes: The Vikings have inverted the surprise factor on defense. The blitz isn't a surprise. It's when they DON'T blitz. As a result, in some ways, their outcomes are BETTER when they don't blitz than when they do.
With your time
You will not find a convo about the @Vikings defense like this.
Redefining defensive football
@minakimes numbers are mind blowing.

What a year for my son to be born. Hasn’t seen a Vikings loss yet and the Gophs are in possession of the axe, the little brown jug, and Floyd.
And he slept through his dad and I cheering throughout the entire game winning drive 😂😂

SAD NEWS: He didn’t make it.
Tragedy struck at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, on Saturday night when a U.S. Air Force service member fell from the stadium rafters during a pregame rappelling demonstration ahead of the UTSA vs. Navy football game.
The airman was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The military has since confirmed that he died from his injuries.
The service member’s identity has not yet been publicly released.
Rest in peace. 🇺🇸

THIS IS ONE OF THE COOLEST STORIES IN SPORTS 🤯
Back in 2014, the Milwaukee Brewers offered fans the opportunity to purchase a $1,000 "Timeless Ticket" that could be redeemed for ANY future home game, including the WORLD SERIES.
The tickets NEVER expired.
Only 1,000 were offered, and each came as a personalized brass ticket that fans could keep forever.
Now, more than a DECADE later, the Brewers are headed to the World Series for the first time since 1982.
The Brewers are honoring those tickets, allowing fans to redeem them for World Series games this year.
Shoutout to the Brewers ❤️

Urban Meyer on the #Gophers:
- We’re there, it’s an electric environment, beautiful stadium, the fans were awesome, it’s one of the biggest crowds we’ve ever had at Big Noon.
- Then I go in this beautiful stadium…there’s 18 Big 10 Championships on the side of the stadium…there’s seven national championships, in the early era…they were maybe the Ohio State of college football. That’s how successful they were.
- That was a recruiting showcase for P.J. Fleck and his staff, very good football team and they put it all over the Wolverines.
- Let me make this comment - arguably the best two weeks in the modern era of Minnesota Football.

I've never played offensive line in the Big 10...So I asked @TommyO53 to explain the difficulty of @_gregjohnson16 moving back to center after playing guard to us. I thought his insight and answer was incredible. Catch the entire conversation: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

RETIRED MLB STAR MATT HOLLIDAY PUT A LIT BASEBALL FIELD ON HIS OKLAHOMA ESTATE. IT IS NOW ASKING $8.95 MILLION
The field has bleachers and a fire pit behind home plate.
His sons practiced on it. One plays for the Orioles and the other was the number 4 draft pick.
He paid $3M for the 136-acre property in his hometown of Stillwater in 2018 and built the house in 2022.
He first asked $12M in February, when it was the most expensive house for sale in Oklahoma.
