Copperline 1.1 is out, the first feature release since 1.0.
New: period hard-drive timing, a "fastest" JIT speed and much faster fast-RAM code and disk I/O, A500 timing corrected, and Windows installers.

I guess I now sort-of have a pocket foldable Amiga?
No Copperline release this week. We've been gearing up for version 1.1, many fixes and improvements in it, but it isn't quite ready yet.
Erm... @zsk did he really say that? In public? With that title?
Translation: large companies still don't know how to use clouds properly, over a decade since we started trying to educate them 🤦♂️
We've had many people testing Copperline 1.0 this week and reporting issues they find. Many thanks to everyone who has contributed bug reports and code. With that, here is the 1.0.1 release:

Copperline 1.0 is more compatible with the CD32 than ever before, with over 16 games running directly on the built-in AROS system, without requiring an Amiga ROM. Full list here:

For developers: a debugger beside the running Amiga with reverse stepping, a bus-cycle frame analyzer, GDB, VS Code source debugging, profiling, an MCP server, and now WinUAE-style debug output ports. 🧵 4/5
Netplay peers all need 1.0.0, RetroArch states need recreating, and macOS 14.2 or newer is required for Mac users.
Thanks to everyone who tested the release candidate. Details:

This is why I really like @AnthropicAI. I've been in several calls with them. They have been engaged, taken feedback and improved their products. In-turn, we at @wolfSSL get to battle-harden our code before a bad actor gets access to frontier models.

I have a @UUGear MEGA4 hub which I use to power cycle multiple development boards I’m working on. I don’t use it with a Pi as intended, and wanted a case. GPT Astra one-shot a design for me that worked perfectly first time.
I’ll shove it on Thingiverse tomorrow.
One big difference I see between Claude and GPT Codex right now when working on development boards:
Claude: I can't do that because it might brick the board.
Me: It is fine, I have lots of spares.
Claude: Nope! And I'm remembering this for future sessions.
GPT: Hold my beer!
No Copperline release this week. Lots of improvements going in that aren't quite ready yet. Hopefully the first GA release will be next week.

After working on the AROS CD32 fixes, I decided to put together a compatibility list. All games were tested using @LinuxJedi's Copperline emulator.
More games will be added over time, with the goal of getting all 147 CD32 games working with AROS.
