No company logos on the containers, please."

We’re going to be in an insane world soon where attackers have access to capable models, while defenders (even ones *verified* through Daybreak / CVP) get refusals on patch analysis, bug finding, triage, tool building, verification, PoC development etc and cannot do their jobs (unless of course they also start using abliterated Chinese models, which is obviously a whole other set of risks!)
Chained cyberattacks are gradually becoming possible with models anyone can download.
In controlled tests at @Irregular, GLM-5.3 completed 3 of 13 multi-stage attack scenarios (at least once). 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗹𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀.
Defenders need to prepare for these capabilities becoming much more widely available. We also need to gear up for a world where we cannot count on model safeguards to prevent misuse.

Binance's initial investigation suggests that the security incident may involve a compromised DevOps engineer’s laptop, which allowed an attacker to gain access to a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions. We have found no evidence of any wallet private key leak. We will share a detailed technical post-mortem once the investigation is complete and the facts are fully verified.
The estimated total impact sits at around $6.3B. We have worked with blockchain partners to freeze affected assets, with ~$3 billion frozen on-chain so far.
Binance will cover all losses from the SAFU fund and the company’s funds. User funds are safe. We will also publish an updated Proof of Reserves once the remediation is complete.
As an immediate precaution, Binance has:
- temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals while security checks are completed;
- revoked the affected address authorisation;
- engaged law enforcement and blockchain intelligence partners to trace and recover funds.
Our teams are working around the clock to resolve this issue safely and thoroughly. We are working closely with our law enforcement partners to confirm the identity of these criminals and bring them to justice.
Please rely only on official Binance channels for updates. Please feel free to contact Binance Customer Support if you have any further questions.

Day 25/
We are doubling all usage limits for all Pro 100/200/500 tiers and Business Premium, effective today.
We heard your kind feedback and won’t be reducing usage limits for Pro 200, so your Work and Codex usage will stay the same. We’re also going to continue offering extended limits for dots for now, and usage of your dot will still continue to be separate from your default usage.
And we'll of course also keep shipping better models and other efficiency improvements that increase your effective usage over time.

Debating AI Sandboxing with @ZackKorman:
Zack thinks sandboxing can be part of a robust security model that also includes monitoring and other techniques.
I think sandboxing AI in the physical universe is hopeless; there's no security model against ASI.

"The FBI is crushing 764"
This FBI is crushing 764 - a violent network that targets children online, affiliated with Nihilistic Violent Extremism.
The results:
🚨 All 56 FBI field offices mobilized
🚨 500+ subjects under investigation
🚨 Nearly 500% INCREASE in 764-related arrests in 2025
🚨 Two key leaders behind bars
🚨 One prolific member sentenced to 77 YEARS in federal prison — a historic sentence.
And across our broader fight to protect America’s children, 6,000+ child predators and human traffickers arrested — UP 13%.
Our children deserve protection. Their victims deserve justice. This FBI is delivering BOTH.

I don't think people realize just how much of an engineering marble DeepSeek V4.1 Flash is, because guess how much RAM you need for 1M context window? For reference Llama 3.3 70B would need around 320gb of RAM.
Qwen 3 8B around 144gb of RAM.
DSV4.1F? Less than 0.9gb.
