Jewish businesses are being targeted on the eve of Kristallnacht’s anniversary. @CombatASemitism urged Philadelphia’s mayor to act. We welcome her response, but it omitted one word: antisemitism. Leadership means protecting Jewish residents, and naming the hatred they face.

Watching the unrest in France is disturbing enough. Seeing people blame Jews and Israel for it makes it even worse.
Our latest @CombatASemitism report documents how quickly that hatred spread on X. It’s exhausting to see Jews blamed for crisis after crisis, and we cannot become numb to it or allow it to be normalized.

The second leg of my Northeast road trip took me across Pennsylvania, with stops in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
They are very different cities, but I was there for the same reason: to sit down with local leaders, hear what they are seeing in their communities, and keep antisemitism firmly on the local agenda.
I also squeezed in a bonus catch-up with the mayor of Sharpsburg, who has become a terrific and engaged partner, as well as a friend.
One of the things I value most about my work at @CombatASemitism is being on the ground, building real relationships, and turning conversations into action
Even on the anniversary of October 7, Mayor Mamdani chose to use Jewish grief as a platform to vilify Israel. Jewish New Yorkers deserve better, and we refuse to let this go unanswered. @CombatASemitism

October 7 is not theirs to rewrite.
We know what happened that day. We know who was murdered. We know who was taken hostage. No amount of slogans, posters or revisionism changes that.
Say it clearly. Remember the victims. Tell the truth about October 7, and do not let anyone erase it.
This week, as we commemorate October 7, pro-Palestinian campus groups and their allies are trying to hijack the date and the story.
October 7 was the day Hamas and its allies murdered about 1,200 people in Israel, most of them civilians, and took 251 hostages. That is not a metaphor. That is the record.
Look at the posters. There are hundreds of events across the world this week, and they share one idea: erase the day. SJP chapters and allied groups keep October 7 on the flyer and strip out what it means. “Three years of genocide.” “Honor our martyrs.” “Week of Rage.” “Tufan Al Aqsa.” The attack is gone. The Israeli dead are gone. The hostages are gone. In their place is a one-sided grief machine and a calendar built to make October 7 mean something else.
This is a hijacking in plain sight. They keep the date so the week is unmistakable. They drop the perpetrators so no one has to say Hamas. They fill the blank with “genocide” and “martyrs,” so the only story left is the war that followed, never the massacre that started it. From campus vigils and “people’s universities” to shipping blockades and “dismantle Zionism” marches, the week’s programming is the cover story for that erasure.
Denial is the strategy.
We see the flyers. We see the pattern across campuses and cities. This is erasure with a keffiyeh filter.
The @CombatASemitism, through ARC, is monitoring and tracking these events worldwide. We will name the organizers, map the network, and expose support for Hamas and the intimidation that rides with it.
This week we mourn the murdered and the hostages. October 7 is their day. It is not a blank page for someone else’s rewrite.
First leg of my Northeast road trip. In some of the most progressive cities in America, mayors are navigating increasingly difficult politics around antisemitism, Israel and anti-Zionism.
@CombatASemitism is going directly into those cities, building relationships and helping leaders act. Because fighting antisemitism cannot be limited to the places where it is easy.
Mamdani must start a fight against antisemitism by confronting his own role in fueling it. Then restore the protections he revoked on day one, including the city’s adoption of the IHRA definition. Jewish New Yorkers demand more. combatantisemitism.org/gover…
Antisemitism must be named—not left implicit. Proud to stand with the Jewish mayors and municipal leaders who called on UNESCO and the U.S. Coalition of Inclusive and Sustainable Cities to explicitly address antisemitism and incorporate the IHRA Working Definition into its 10-Point Action Plan against racism and discrimination.

Brooklyn Democrats elected Carmella Charrington a district leader on June 23, 2026, months after she promoted Henry Ford’s antisemitic The International Jew on Instagram. In August, she blamed “Zionists” for her family’s property dispute.
This is a clear pattern of antisemitism. The Brooklyn Democratic Party must remove her from leadership. @CombatASemitism

If you’re serious about addressing antisemitism “in all its forms,” will you adopt the IHRA definition?
The fight against antisemitism happens at the local level.
Yesterday in Columbia, I sat down with mayors and municipal leaders from across South Carolina who made clear they are ready to stand with their Jewish communities and turn that commitment into action.
Proud of the work we’re building at @CombatASemitism, one city at a time.

These South Carolina mayors prove that fighting antisemitism with leadership and integrity begins at home.
More than a dozen mayors and municipal officials from across South Carolina gathered in Columbia yesterday to build local plans against rising antisemitism.
Mayors have a unique ability to protect their communities, and they're stepping up.

Senate Democrats’ boycott of yesterday's Judiciary Subcommittee hearing on the Muslim Brotherhood network is deeply troubling. Refusing to examine a global Islamist movement with documented terrorist ties does not eliminate the threat; it weakens our ability to confront extremism and protect Americans. combatantisemitism.org/gover…

Pride demands that every person be able to live openly, safely, and without fear. That promise must include Jews. Please read my recent OpEd for @CombatASemitism - combatantisemitism.org/speci…
