Andoni Iraola says he will tell his Liverpool players to go down when they are fouled in the box after they were controversially denied a penalty in Sunday’s 1-0 Premier League defeat to Arsenal. “It is a shame you ask me this question but, honestly, yes we have to tell them ‘go down’ because they aren’t going to call it otherwise,” Iraola told reporters post-match. “I think Alex is honest. He tries to go for the ball and everyone can see straight away that it is a clear, clear pull. “He was going to head the ball right in front of goal when they grabbed his shirt.
