Alex Yee, triathlon Olympic gold medalist, 2:06 marathoner, has a dungeon of a pain cave.
@Lixsanyee’s savage response on Strava when asked why:

The Alex Yee triathlon was today and I took kids across KS2 including our inclusion provision. At the end a child with ASD turned to me and said "Mr Braganza that was the worst idea ever but can we do it again tomorrow?" God I love working in schools.
The finale is up! Come ride with me for my last moments pre London Marathon as we finish off this Detour!
It has been a different challenge opening up myself but thanks to you all this has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. Hopefully more to come

Thanks Alex Yee, @Lixsanyee, for talking in such interesting detail about the psychological and physical challenges of running his first London marathon on Sunday. He reflects on suffering, going to dark places and his incredible Olympic win last summer.

Thank you for the mention!!
I was so lucky to have many opportunities growing up within Lewisham, I hope my small success can be a catalyst for change to help open opportunities and doors for young people now living in the borough!
It’s not often I get to speak in Parliament as a Government Whip. So, when I can, I make sure to mention #LewishamNorth as much as possible.
Thankfully, amazing constituents like our Olympian Gold Medallist @Lixsanyee make that easy to do.
