ALT MATCH REPORT: The Lobby XI completed the conference double with a 5-1 victory over the Conservatives having beaten Labour last week. Viagogo’s Ruan Tremayne bagged a hat trick, while a cheeky lob from Josh Caplan (after gliding past Graham Evans who was three times his age) and the obligatory goal from Babcock’s Luke Joseph put the game beyond the Tories as the Lobby made their superior numbers and lower average age count. InHouse’s Tom Jane grabbed one back for the Tories, only after Playbook’s Sam Francis left defensive midfield. Fittingly shadow sports minister Louie French, in goal for the Conservatives, was named his side’s player of the match, alongside Lobby keeper Kiran Stacey after both helped keep the scoreline from getting even sillier.
