Unveiling LOBITracka
Through the LOBITracka Project we shall track the public policies of the Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia-led administration using five (5) indicators:
- Agriculture and Rural Development
- Health
- Education
- Infrastructure &

Three years into the Alia-led administration, 44% of assessed promises in the Commerce and Industry sector remain unfulfilled, while 31% are in progress, 19% have been kept, and 6% have been compromised, according to the LOBITracka Annual Assessment Report 2026.

Although progress is underway on some commitments, the findings highlight the need to accelerate implementation and deliver on outstanding promises that affect businesses, traders, entrepreneurs, and the wider economy.
Benue's commercial sector needs sustained government action to create an enabling business environment, expand economic opportunities, and support local enterprise development.
