KXLL the Mouse Challenge - Day 117
I love analog things (shoulda renamed to Loganalog 馃槣?) and there are scientific benefits to "doing things by hand."
So, I mind-mapped my entire business plan. It's horrifically organized, so will make a clean digital 2nd draft (shoulda renamed to Digitalogan馃珷?) for the new CEO.
It was a relief to get all the little bubbles & webs out of my head, onto paper - made real. Now I can use that space for more inventions, speaking of which...
Tonight, I will be gaming and working on some 3D models for a board game I invented years ago, for fun!
It's called SNAKED.

I hereby step down as CEO of @LF_Null - I suck at it. I'm too laissez-faire.
My head is so deep in CAD & wire that I lose track of the date. But companies like mine require schmoozing & pitching... I love MAKING, and it's all I want to do, so...
Then there were 2.
An absolute psycho agreed to team up with me as CEO - for pure equity, post demo. I am drafting an offer with my left hand as I tweet with my right.

What day is it?
My sleep schedule is officially hamboned. I woke up at midnight!
I still owe all of my beta testers an email, and did NOT finish my NSF application. However, the new media machine is nearly launch-worthy and I have a way to log data from users that verify the HAWK's precision claims (Aim Game).
I'll be back tomorrow fresh and kickin'.

I have zero hardware background.
Today a Shenzhen hardware founder told me that doesn't matter anymore.
More and more people like me are starting physical AI companies. Here's why:
1. ChatGPT 6 Astra designs the board.
Describe what you want and it draws the circuit. You still get an engineer to check it.
2. Shenzhen prints it in 2 days.
A custom circuit board at your door in 48 hours. Flexible boards like the one inside these glasses can be back in 12 hours.
3. One supplier does everything.
Some take you from a sketch all the way to mass production.
4. Building is no longer the bottleneck. Customers are.
Robot and humanoid companies here don't need more partners. They need people who'll actually buy.
10 years ago, you needed a team and a million dollars to make hardware.
Today, you need a laptop and a flight to Shenzhen.
What coding did for software, AI plus Shenzhen is doing for hardware.

You get to say "you knew me" before I invented the HAWK. Just tested... this is going to be HUGE.
New version: my feedback is holy @#&(. My other tester said "holy @&(*". I set my personal best in AimTrainer, twice. And it looks AWESOME (images coming tonight) Maybe ~5-10% higher scores on average than the mouse. I am retiring my classic mouse as of... now.
I realize I am claiming to have the equivalent of a purple unicorn, but buckle up and get your big kid pants on. I'm going to play some games with it... and the proof in that pudding is going to blow everyone's minds.
Goosebumps! Very excited. More in the update later.

Took me allll day & night, but I've got a high quality HAWK. F*** sleep.
The basic design is optimized, so if it can't beat the absolute 馃挬 out of a mouse, I will eat it. LIVE! Tomorrow! Not a typo. Arduino & optical sensor for dessert.

I don't have an all-nighter in me (having worked 12+ hours), but 100% chance of HAWK tomorrow.
The issues with the last model (which still performed exceedingly well) were:
- Misplaced, wobbly buttons
- Right click short-out
This time, I wasn't dumb about button placement, and painstakingly aligned them - they're tight against the body of the mouse, will come with some padding, and should provide a satisfying click, as well as give us another ~5% boost in performance?
