Today was a turning point for the @solana community. Together, we showed the world that we're the most scalable and battle-tested ecosystem in crypto. $JUP was one of the biggest airdrops ever—on any blockchain—and we're proud to have helped @JupiterExchange and @weremeow ensure its success. Never before have we seen network traffic like this. At peak, we saw 90,000 requests per second (RPS) and 3x the overall traffic of the $WEN airdrop. Despite this overwhelming traffic, we were able to avoid any outages and help hundreds of thousands of you claim your well-deserved rewards. This wouldn't have been possible without a herculean effort from many dedicated partners in the ecosystem: @AlliumLabs, @triton_one, @blowfishxyz, @QuickNode, @heliuslabs and our very own Phantom devs. They worked countless hours to load test, optimize infrastructure, and prepare for various scenarios—many of which played out today. Thanks to their hard work, we got through this airdrop, and came out of it with vastly improved processes and infrastructure. But most of all, thank you 🫵 Your support and feedback helps us to be at our best. We’re now more prepared than ever to onboard millions more to @solana and bring crypto to the masses.
