From a moment when I was contemplating how best to say something, and realised I say it best with swords.

Sometimes the light sucks for getting photos of freeplay at spread. But I’m still glad of catching these moments at Sword Saturday. A good amount of freeplay today which was very needed. ☺️⚔️☺️

Running between the two classes suits my mind perfectly and it aids both when the vulgar and verdadera destreza come together for logical overlaps.

It’s impossible to be unhappy in a poncho.
Especially when on your way to swordfight.
Waiting for the Girard Thibault Verdadera Destreza class (or possibly some hobbits).

Just wonderful, many stabs, a lot of Girard Thibault verdadera destreza, and the addition of the off hand to play against… because we wanted to.

Oh there are so many variations of this we can do.
Heresy!
I feel it’s worth mentioning the life giving sword here as well, to paraphrase “do not let your opponent know you want to do this, or they will kill you”.
The point of these is not for you to do them against an uncooperative opponent, but for them to exist, trained and ready for the point at which they are the right thing to do. Which I thought was obvious, but here we are😊
