Went on a date with a 27-year-old last week. Halfway through dinner, she asked me: “Are you seeing anyone else?”

I laughed. Thought she was joking.
She wasn’t.
She said she wasn’t asking me to be her boyfriend. She just wanted to know if we were serious about getting to know each other.
When I dropped her off, she smiled and said, “I hope you ask me out again.” The next morning, she texted first.
I just stared at my phone.

I just watched Backrooms, that is 1 hour and 45 minutes of my life I will never get back. I don’t care what anyone says or tries to explain, that was one of the worst movies I’ve seen in my entire life. It’s one of those movies that we are told we should like, fuck you. That was a piece of crap.
