We don't see enough of this in sports, and life, really. Imagine a world of respect, love and reciprocity as Ms. Fifita mentions here. We can always dream of it and live our lives toward it.
The elders met @CoachBrennan for the first time & greeted him with a kahoa made w/ ti leaves & dahlia flowers from their garden. Giving a kahoa is an expression of humility, love, & respect. Wearing one reflects values of respect, love, & reciprocity. 🐻⬇️

SATURDAY HS FOOTBALL 🏈@PuebloFootball coach Sly Lewis informed me that the Warriors’ home opener with Nogales has been rescheduled from Fri., Aug. 30 to a day later, Sat., Aug. 31, because not enough referees can work all the games on that Friday. Kickoff between the Warriors and Apaches at Pueblo is at 10 a.m.

Why you do me like that NFL?

Athlete or not we’ve all heard the saying, you’re either getting better or you’re getting worst. There is no staying the same. Complacency should scare you! #mevsme
I've always believed that pride can always set up a person for a rude awakening (a fall). A life of humility and self-examination will always lift a person higher than a person full of pride. – at Tucson, AZ
