This scene is in the first chapter of the Nikke story, its one of the most heartbreaking moments and a genuine hook for the games story
Then they release an event 4 years later that completely recontextualizes the scene and makes you go and rewatch it again
I love this game

NIKKE Marian event was one of the most gut wrenching, soul torturing, tear inducing event I have seen in a video game in a decade. It was so beautiful, so inspiring and something that fills the soul with sorrow but at the same time Hope. Can never look at other nikkes the same.
im done adding "for a gacha" at the end when i talk about nikke's story. its one of the greatest stories ive ever read period. end of sentence. im putting this up there with nier and persona 3. i will die on this hill every day if i have to
