Matt Zane

I used to say to him, The Man, The Myth, The Legend. The Real Rock Star. Soon people will know the way you wanted to be seen and heard. Only the flesh is gone. Your legacy will live on. Wayne Static: November 4, 1965 – November 1, 2014

KISS was Wayne Static's favorite band so much so he used to paint his face like Paul Stanley on Halloween during his shows. It only seems fitting that today on Halloween I share these pics from when I worked with KISS earlier this year and brought Wayne's memorial poster with me

"Is there a day of your life when you do anything by chance that isn't related to Static-X, do you have an actual life?" Yes I'm in a crazy shock rock band for fun called Society 1 but I decided to put my entire life on hold to make this documentary about Wayne and Tera.

Announcing the premiere date Nov. 4th for Wayne Static / Tera Wray Documentary. Until then here is some BTS from Wayne's favorite music video "Assassins Of Youth" directed by me. #waynestatic #terawray

STATIC-X HAD MY BOOK BANNED BY THE PUBLISHER! I signed a book deal last year and it was released. Today I woke up to an email from the publisher stating "Yes, unfortunately, I had to take the book down and discontinue it."

I'VE BEEN DOXED! Some of you know since I've been posting screenshots of them but I've been receiving death threats. Apparently that's not enough for Static-X. I was made aware of a new slander account today (allegedly created by Static-X) that is posting my home address.

Announcing premiere date of the Wayne Static and Tera Wray Documentary Nov. 4th! Here is some BTS of Wayne's last music he was in. DMC "Noise Revolution" which I directed. #waynestatic #terawray

Another great Wayne Static collaboration with the band 9 Electric in the documentary! "Destroy As You Go" featured in the Wayne Static / Tera Wray Doc. Nov. 4th the premiere date will be announced. #waynestatic #terawray

Check out this clip from Wayne Static and Mephisto Odyssey for the song Crash: Reborn  Producer extraordinaire  Mikael Johnston granted use of the song and was interviewed for the Wayne and Tera documentary.  #waynestatic #terawray

2026 has been an emotional roller coaster reliving those 7 years with Wayne and Tera through the creation of their documentary.   Nov. 4th I’ll announce the premiere date and how you can get tickets.  #waynestatic #terawray

Weekly threats and people telling me to kill myself have been common this entire year. All this over a documentary about 2 people I actually knew. Wayne Static and Tera Wray Documentary Premiere Date will be announced nov4. #waynestatic #terawray

Static-X Lawsuit Update #waynestatic #terawray

You’re going to have to kill me in order to stop this documentary from being released. All the death threats, insults, hate mail, lawsuits, account bans and most amusingly attacks against my band (which has nothing to do with any of this) won’t be enough. #waynestatic

Here is a absolutely crazy Static-X story you'd never believe without proof. #waynestatic

A Piece Of L.A. History Showing You Who Was Really On The Scene This is from the 1998 Rock City News newspaper ad. It was a L.A. band directory contact list . Notice Static-X and my band Society 1. We used to go to each others shows believe it or not. #waynestatic

Veiled Threat Of The Week Imagine wanting me to be shot because I'm making a doc. For the record, I've never been a drug dealer and I never once "partied" with Wayne or Tera. This is part of the reason the premiere will be a private event. The date will be announced Nov. 4th.

Here is the proof for Here Is The Truth. Wayne Static unreleased track info.  #waynestatic

New Wayne Static Song Snippet. So much content and updates were deleted when my accounts were banned. I'm going to start getting it all back up. #waynestatic #terawray

I have to make it clear once again this documentary is about Wayne and Tera. They wanted it to be about the both of them. It's not a Static-X documentary or strictly about Wayne Static. I'm just putting it out there so the haters' heads don't explode when it's released.

Nov 4th the details for the Wayne Static and Tera Wray doc. premiere will be announced. Tickets will be first come first serve and the theatre is located in Hollywood, CA. Yesterday we did a test screening at the theatre and it was amazing seeing it on the big screen.
