This is such bullshit! I was a server and bartender for 13+ years. I usually always got 20% after tax on the check, not the subtotal. Applebee‘s uses frozen food and thaws it out. I used to work there when I was 20 years old…don't go there! Oprah also screwed us when go to said don't tip on wine! A $300 bottle Cabernet Sauvignon, three of them, is $900 on your check plus entrées. That's a pretty decent after tax total. And you better believe I got 20% if not more. I've been robbed, survived murder attempts, lied about, and threatened, but I keep going. You don't intimidate me. It takes a lot to scare me, and I'm never scared.
