I AM CRYING AGAIN, love her sooooooo bad
Took my daughter to a screening of Toy Story 5 yesterday in NYC, followed by a Q&A with Andrew Stanton and Taylor Swift! What an experience.
Loved hearing them talk passionately about the process of finding the perfect song in “I Knew It, I Knew You” for the end credits, Taylor’s connection to the character of Jessie and finding those special friends who just “get” you. (Taylor wrote/recorded it within 6 hours after seeing a cut of the movie)
We even got to go up on stage afterward to gush and take some pictures. Both were so incredibly warm, kind and down-to-earth. Taylor’s first question was asking my daughter what she was for Halloween (a fried egg 😂) which she loved. They took time with all of us who attended even though I’m sure Taylor wanted to get to that Chiefs game!
As a songwriter, it was especially cool hearing Taylor geek out about the music and how her and Jack channeled influence from Randy Newman. And as a storyteller Pixar has always been THE gold standard of family entertainment, my collaborators and I are always dissecting their movies finding inspiration when developing our @bbbpress shows, so hearing Andrew deep dive into what 30 years of the Toy Story series has meant to him was a peak moment. And getting to share the whole experience with my daughter made it even more special.
Thank you @Disney and SCL for this core memory!

"be honest.. did you guys replace me?? I dont want to kick somebody off of this project that you reached out to after.. I understand, Im not in the business of doing that" QUEEN!!!❤️
Reason # 13,000 why you’ll never convince me she’s a bad person. Social media is not real life. I’ve yet to see a single person walk away not feeling seen by her & her making them feel like there’s nowhere she’d rather be in that moment, than right there with them🩷
