🚨 Stellar Community Fund round 45 put $4.04 million in $XLM into 40 projects The awards split into three groups. Eight new protocols received $838,100. Twenty-eight teams integrating existing products received $2.76 million. Four developer tools received $445,000. One protocol wraps ordinary tokens so the balance stays hidden on the public record, yet the holder can still hand a viewing key to an auditor or regulator. Others turn car-loan receivables and property interests into tokens that pay out on a set schedule, with rules that block transfers to unapproved wallets. Several more connect Stellar dollar balances to local bank accounts and mobile-money services in Africa, Latin America and South Asia, so a business can receive or send funds without opening a crypto account. Institutions that custody client assets or settle invoices usually cannot put balances on a fully public ledger. They also cannot use a system that offers no way to prove a payment occurred. These projects add the missing pieces: private balances that remain checkable, tokenised loans and property that follow existing compliance lists, and direct links into local payment systems banks already use. The open question is how many of the payment and lending integrations will process live customer volume within the next twelve months! 👏
