This is alarming…a measles exposure was confirmed in multiple Philadelphia airport terminals. Philadelphia has a population of 1.6 million. Measles is an extremely contagious airborne virus in which particles can remain in the air for up to two hours after an infected person has left the area. An infected person can infect up to 90% of people they come into close contact with if folks do not have immunity. There are currently over 767 cases of measles in Pennsylvania spanning 38 counties, 150 hospitalizations, 4 dead (all unvaccinated.) This is not to fear monger, this is to educate and keep you and your children safe. We have a safe, and 97% effective vaccine to protect against measles.

Measles is spreading across Pennsylvania and the state is asking the CDC for emergency help. There are 767 confirmed measles cases, 150 hospitalizations and 4 measles associated deaths. In the 4 deaths, all were unvaccinated.

An entire family was found dead in San Diego after mom sought help from the VA for her husband’s PTSD.
Amy Voight (54), David Voight, and their 13-year-old daughter Mya were all found dead from gunshot wounds on September 16th.
David Voight was a highly decorated U.S. Navy warrant officer who served for 30 years. He worked directly in war zones including Iraq and Afghanistan.
According to family members, David’s PTSD had recently become worse. Amy was encouraged to take David to the Department of Veterans Affairs clinic for help, which she did on September 15th. The receptionist said they would have to make an appointment and come back since the counselors were all busy at the time. 😔 #california #domesticviolence
