History will perhaps judge Prime Minister Narendra Modi as one of the most consequential reformers of our times, in the league of Lee Kuan Yew and Deng Xiaoping. In one crucial respect, his achievement may be even more remarkable. The World Bank’s latest estimates reveal an extraordinary transformation. Nearly 50 crore Indians moved above the lower-middle-income poverty line between 2011–12 and 2023–24. Extreme poverty fell from 27.1% to just 2.6%. Consider the circumstances in which this transformation has taken place. A decade marked by a global pandemic, wars, geopolitical instability, supply chain disruptions and slowing global growth. Yet India has emerged as one of the fastest-growing major economies. But what makes Modi’s leadership truly exceptional is the political environment in which he has pursued this transformation. Lee Kuan Yew, the architect of modern Singapore, once famously remarked, “No single person can change India.” He pointed to India’s extraordinary linguistic and social diversity and the immense difficulty of governing such a complex nation. He contrasted this with China, which he considered far easier to govern and transform because of its more centralised political system and greater linguistic cohesion. Lee Kuan Yew transformed Singapore. Deng Xiaoping transformed China. Both were extraordinary leaders. But Singapore was a small city-state, while China’s transformation took place under a one-party political system. India is different. A billion-plus people. Hundreds of languages. Extraordinary social, cultural and regional diversity. Competitive elections, powerful state governments, independent institutions, competing interests and multiple constitutional checks and balances. Reforming a country of this complexity, at this scale, while continuously seeking and winning the people’s democratic mandate, requires a rare combination of political acumen, administrative ability and leadership. Modi has demonstrated that democracy and decisive development are not mutually exclusive. That is perhaps his greatest contribution, not just to India, but to the global faith in democracy itself. When the history of great reformers of the 21st century is written, Narendra Modi will deserve a place among the foremost.

#BollywoodRomanceWithPakistan Why a number of Bollywood personalities are always closing in with Pakistan in some form or the other? Some show their allegiance openly and the others while remaining in the background. Whether they are Khans, Kumars , Kapoors, Azams, Udeens, Akhtars , Padukones, or those with Dubai and London connections ; they have a common thread of Pak Love and Dirty Money. It is ridiculous to see some of these characters posing for photographs with Pakistani Generals and personalities with terror connections. Why do they flock to join their exotic events and don’t feel embarrassed to dance around in their family functions? The simple thread that binds them is illegal funding for their films and lurements given by ISI. The surprising part is that they survive and flourish even now inspite of their anti India and anti Hindu stance. Thank God that Social Media today is capable of bringing out their true faces and counter their mischievous narratives!

Let’s remember our great Hindu Philosopher, Social leader and founder of the Arya Samaj. His call to the nation, “Back to Vedas” is more relevant and important today.

#TheIrrelevantOpposition It’s NOT beneficial for the developmental dynamics of our country to have an opposition which doesn’t have a right political orientation. Their political beliefs and ethics lacks soul to work for the society. If they do not ideologically remould themselves, they will soon be lost in the oblivion. Such a situation is not useful for a democracy like ours!

#Nov1Rally I.N.D.I.A block proposed rally on 01 Nov 26 cannot be successful because those organising it do not know what they are doing. Most of the leaders of the block are pretending to be brave. They don’t know what they are trying to prove. They all are insecure with poor self-esteem. Then how do they expect people to follow them genuinely ? Even if some people are lured with incentives to join the protest, they will be of no use except being a nuisance to the public. All this will result in negative propaganda and be harmful for the Indi gang.

#UnanimousDecisionsInaDemocracy Indian Express group thought that it could spread false and misleading information and successfully undermine the credibility of Constitutional Institution like the CEC. The aim was clearly to sow discord and division among the public to create confusion and doubt about the intentions of the Election Commission. However, they didn’t realise that the Indian masses are politically educated and mature and can’t be manipulated easily because they ask questions and are intelligent enough to differentiate between real and fake. We all know that differing opinions doesn’t mean that it can’t lead to unanimous decisions. The members of a committee or participants of a group discussion may disagree on the underlying logic or reasoning, yet agree on the final conclusion or resolution. In a democratic and transparent organisation, every issue is decided by letting every member give his view point without any pressure and discuss the same with his reasoning and then finally the group finds a common ground that satisfies everyone’s core requirements. That’s how the decisions are made unanimously. That’s how the committee in most cases gives a decision with no dissenting vote. I am sure the Express Group understands the whole gamut but has been purposefully working through an agenda. Hopefully they do some introspection and mend their ways in order to maintain the integrity of an independent media.

#AgendaSettingMedia It is extremely disturbing to observe a section of the media acting rogue by setting an agenda through twisted shadow information with the aim of misleading the inexperienced youth. It was shocking to watch some reputed media houses trying to equate the anarchic situation in France, Italy, Albania, Belgium and Spain with foreign aided opposition driven street goondaism in one or two townships in India and amplifying the opposition street unrest theatrics to polarise the youth with a suggestion of a likely regime change. Was it only for TRP or a disinformation campaign as part of the world wide conspiratorial information warfare ? It is for us, the people of Bharat 🇮🇳 and the government to take note of such veiled media coverage with a malicious intention.

Entire Vote Chori drama was created by Indian Express with flimsy research & fake claims, published on the day SC was taking up a case about ECI appointments. To put pressure on courts. The substance in the report was so weak, the conclusions so motivated & far fetched, it should not have got published. But dhanda pressure... So to hide the lack of substance, from day 1 they started talking about Ritika Chopra, presented her as a hero. Reverse ad-hominem. Glorify an author so their work will appear good. That fraud came crashing down today at Supreme Court... Shame on Indian Express!

#DisiformationCampaignByAntiIdiaElements It is shocking to observe certain spokespersons and media handlers of an opposition party who have commenced a propaganda war against the Armed Forces to harm its reputation. Fake news is being used as a form of guerrilla warfare tool. Can we allow these characters to manipulate people’s perception of reality? These people need to be punished for presenting false information as the truth, and are trying to shape people’s beliefs, attitudes and behaviours against their own Armed Forces and country.

#IndoTibetBorderDynamics No one understands it better than the Indian Army. The MEA and its China Desk have certainly grasped the historical perspective and significance. My professional respect for Dr S Jaishankar for his in-depth and unique understanding of the dynamics of our northern border and his ability to articulate it in the most convincing manner. Border Management on our land borders, maritime borders and the open sky is best understood and executed by the Indian Armed Forces. All other Defence Strategists, writers, thinkers , locals residing in certain border areas and newsmakers articulate their views by analysing the available information based on their own perspectives and agendas. That’s why it is never completely authentic and trustworthy. They all are a party in creating a vague narrative and it’s good for us to keep it so. Both the PLA and the Indian Armed Forces continuously update their information and plan their strategies and operational tactics as per the ground situation. So why this hullabaloo on intrusion by patrols by both sides? Let me explain some facts to ponder by the audience who are well informed, less informed or uninformed. They all have a right to know the general security situation provided their intentions are nationalistic and patriotic. The present quagmire has been created due to the purposeful mishandling of the border issue by the Britishers and imprudence of the then government under Mr Nehru and their continued legacy of immature strategic behaviour and mishandling of the situation by Congress leadership in continuity, resulting in occupation of Aksai Chin, slipping away of Trans Karakoram Tract(Shaksgam Valley) under the de facto control of China and the premature conflict with China in 1962. “Mr Nehru said, “We don’t need a Defence Policy. Our Policy is Ahimsa. As far as I am concerned, You can scrap the Army, Police are good enough to meet our security needs” - Jawahar LalNehru. When advised by the Army about preparedness and deployment of the forces, Mr Nehru sadly said, “It is not the business of the commander-in-chief to tell the Prime Minister who is going to attack us and where. In fact the Chinese will defend our Eastern Frontiers”-Jawahar Lal Nehru. So the military aim of India against China in that period was flawed. The political and bureaucratic system of our country under the Congress and UPA rule never allowed the operational capability of our military to manifest as a strong force except in 1971 when Indira Gandhi listened to the military advice and supported the operational plans as advised by Field Marshal Manekshaw. But once again the weak polity driven by the equally weak and non competent bureaucracy did not allow the military to carry out effective domination of the boundry and always prevailed upon to act defensively. It is only after the NDA came into power under the present leadership when the National Security Policy and critical strategic philosophy along with war fighting concepts took solid shape. Today India is well poised to meet the threat of Two-and Half Fronts and is capable of matching and defeating the Chinese Strategic Challenges from a position of strength. India 🇮🇳 has focused towards building itself as a ‘Comprehensive National Power’ by calculated economic development, technical upgradations, modernisation and force projection capabilities. It’s not my aim to criticise the efforts of the previous governments. As a professional, my endeavour is only to awaken the conscience of those who are trying to retard the progress, development and security preparedness by their egoistical agenda which may erode trust in the finest institutions of our Nation.

#IndiaUStradeDeal This trade deal can be finalised and signed only when US shows maturity and it’s a win-win for both. US is not in a position to outsmart India 🇮🇳 with the present dispensation and the leadership. The faster US understands this reality, the better!

#TheDunningKrugerEffect Individuals while in important positions, however, lacking in-depth knowledge about China and the border question should avoid making immature and unnecessary statements in public. Today India has created an extremely effective military capability to deter China from any misadventure towards India. We have a battle hardened, fully equipped and motivated military and NO Military in the world including that of the super powers can afford to confront it in a land battle. Today the Government of India possesses every element of power to fight a successful war if its national security and integrity is threatened. Our adversaries know that very well. Today’s India has the capability, capacity, will, and the National Power to execute a successful offensive in the way it deems fit. It would therefore be unwise to make irresponsible statements without knowing the National Aim, Military Strategy and Diplomatic concept which are all in effective sync. We have established a strong military posture on our borders which is acting as a catalyst towards ensuring peace and tranquility. Such an operational strategy and ground tactics will eventually help in a favourable settlement of the border issue. Every Force commander must understand that on our northern borders, we have a LAC which is ill defined and ambiguous. We have to manage our northern front without losing our territory till the border question is resolved to our advantage. – at Patna, India

#MyIndia India 🇮🇳 and its Military always think and act strategically. It used patience as a tool to expand its options and gave the world a lesson on strategic thinking. Instead of wearing ourselves in little wars, we have been saving our energy for the right moment and will show our enemies the repercussions of meddling with our security and integrity. We did give a glimpse of our strength and character to the world in Op Sindoor! We are calm while we watch the opponents get frustrated and irritated. – at Patna, India

#RegimeChangeThroughStreetViolence Bharat 🇮🇳 will never allow any regime change through street anarchy model. I am happy that the protagonists of the regime change have been well identified and their faces are now visible. Government of India and the Nationalists of Bharat will certainly deal with these characters in an appropriate manner. I am also happy that our unknown gunmen heroes have got their targets for neutralisation outside the boundaries of India. – at Patna, India

#CommunicationSecurity Today Communication Security is a major component of National Security and cannot be ignored under any circumstances. A disinformation campaign is going on to portray communication gaps in Indian villages and far flung areas which is 95% UNTRUE.There are hardly a very few areas from where you can’t communicate. That too is being covered at a rapid pace very successfully. Why then should we sell our security sovereignty, data control and security related interception capability to a foreign company ? The Government of India is taking the most appropriate measures to ensure communication security within the ambit of self reliance and modernisation of communications systems. While the Indian companies are assisted to build their own satellites communications infrastructure; entry of all Indian and foreign entities like Star link is permitted with certain non negotiable conditions such as:- (a) Mandatory routing of satellite traffic through Indian Gateways. (b) Authority to use geographic kill switch over sensitive border or conflict zones. (c) Complete Data Localization.( Data must stay inside India) (d) Lawful interception and monitoring within India by Indian Agencies. (e) Establishment of Security Check Points by India to track and control traffic from foreign networks. India is well within its rights to place appropriate restrictions on commercial communication providers as part of its sovereign foreign policy. There cannot be separate policies for US companies if they are not in our national security interests. – at Patna, India

Today is the day when in 1943, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose revived and reorganised the Azad Hind Fauj and announced the provisional Government of Free India. The aim of the Azad Hind Fauj was to liberate India from the British Rule. Let’s not forget their immense contribution in the freedom struggle. This elite force in one stroke gave the fear of death and extinction to the British.
