🚨***LPD PROPERTY CRIMES UNIT ASKING PUBLIC FOR INFORMATION IN LIQUOR STORE THEFT***🚨 The Lubbock Police Department’s Property Crimes Unit is asking the public for information regarding a theft at a central Lubbock liquor store. On August 31, 2026, a suspect entered a liquor store in the 2700 block of 50th Street at 3:35 p.m. The suspect removed a bottle from a shelf and ran out of the store without paying. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5’4” to 5’9”, medium build, dark hair and wearing a gray Nike hoodie and a camouflage backpack. On July 10, 2026, officers responded to a report of an aggravated robbery in the 4600 block of Jarvis Street at 3:29 p.m. The suspect is described as a black male, age 14-18, and wearing a black t-shirt with red, orange and yellow flames on the front. Anyone with information regarding this case should call Crime Line at (806) 741-1000. Citizens who provide information leading to an arrest or conviction could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.
