Some key ‘positives’ around Matt Bloomfields appointment.
(None of which I really knew until I properly researched) 🧵 #OUFC
What is going on at this club…
Are we levelling up, or are people leaving due to the concerns of how the club is being run.
We’ll find out eventually #OUFC
I know it’s a big day… but am I missing something? Like this isn’t the final decision.
If we get the decision we want, they can then go to a “final appeal”
If it goes against us then it’s just to a proper review where we’d hope to get what we want then? #OUFC
Feel like football journalist have a mixed reputation anyway, but are there any that lack, professionalism and class more so than Nixon?
Just a gobby twat that sprays shit #OUFC
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Leyton Orient updates from my source, ex-player Dean Cox, who still has friends high up at the club.
• £5m was always the price for Ballard. Bristol City have now matched it and the deal is agreed.
• Orient had a £150k bid rejected for Shaq Forde. Richie Wellens believed he could get the best out of him despite two difficult seasons. “The Shaq” was the second choice striker option and not viewed as a Ballard replacement.
• Jamie Donley and Jayden Wareham are admired, but both are currently seen as too expensive.
• Jaze Kabia and Mark Harris remain under consideration.
• Cameron Burstow and Sam Nombe were both approached but turned Orient down.
Question it all you like. I trust my source. Not everyone is a former football agent who owns a Segway.

I like… #OUFC
With the clause, he’ll go.
Will be interesting how these clubs battle for his signature.
A chunk of money into the club, can’t stop this one unfortunately.
Wish him the best. #OUFC
This isn’t a rage bait tweet.
What did people think? and what exactly did they feel was missing if they didn’t like this statement?

Who do we think could have a breakout year in yellow this season?
James Golding ⭐
Aiden Elliott-Wheeler
Josh Johnson ⭐
Louie Sibley ⭐
Leo Snowden
Siriki Dembele
Gatlin O’Donker ⭐
Stars indicate who I think could have a big impact. #OUFC
Just a reminder.
We only have control over some players.
Others, we have no choice in if they leave or not.
When they say we’re trying to retain the squad, that’s anyone we have full control over.

One I’ve been keeping my eye on.
Would’ve been the perfect addition to our wide areas. #Pompey have gained a good one IMO #OUFC
Everyone raving about fixtures and stuff…
Mean while I’m looking at the interesting choice of colour on the text.
Used AI to mock up some away kits based on this random text colour!
Thoughts? #oufc
Potential Ramsey ball thread.
(team selection is assuming, Currie, BDK and Mills move on)
Ignore any errors in here, it’s hot ☀️

Striker - Harris or Prelec
The 9 would lead the press as much as the attack. Rather than simply being a target man, they’d link play, occupy defenders, create space for teammates and attack the box. Work rate, movement and intelligence would be valued just as highly as goals.
