#CUSA Freshman of The Year favorite Eli Sancomb looking to get Liberty back to the NCAA Tournament in 2027:
The 6’5 Guard averaged 30.8 points, 11.7 rebounds, 7.7 assists & 2.8 steals during his senior year at Wheeling Central Catholic (WV). Sancomb’s scoring ability to get to the rim and taking good shots from beyond the arc is impressive, as well as his high basketball IQ to read the offense is like having another coach on the court.
The Wheeling, West Virginia native is a true Floor General and will be one of the top players for the Flames this season.

6’6 Liberty Freshman PG Eli Sancomb is one of the best Longterm Mid Major NBA Draft Prospects .
Sancomb was a standout player in HS who averaged 15/7/6 while shooting 38% from 3 in Puma and 26/11/5 on 54/36/85 splits in HS where he was named the Gatorade POTY in West Virginia .
Sancomb is an extremely talented shooter and playmaker for his height who has the ability to score on all 3 levels with efficiency while also having the passing vision to make advanced reads for someone his age and height.
Sancomb is also a skilled off ball player who can get open off the catch and be a high level connective passer and is overall an extremely versatile player.
Sancomb is joining a very talented Liberty team that has the potential to be one of the best Mid Major teams in the country and he has the chance to be a major contributor on that roster.
Sancomb’s mix of playmaking, 3 level scorer, off ball craft, and decision making at 6’6 on the court makes him an extremely valuable and versatile player who can impact the game at a high level.

Catching a bit more of the @WVGoldHoops 17U team. Diego Rojas Joy (@diegojoyyy) is killing right now has had three 3s in a 4 minute span and a couple of steals. Him and @LukeSancomb13 have been killing it as a backcourt despite being severely outsized

Impressive in EVERY WAY! A throwback that cares about one thing- WINNING. Skill level is off the charts as are his intangibles. A complete gem.
