Still shot captured of the jury during deliberations…
Well, today was a wild ride in the David Prevatte trial. No jurors will be held in contempt. The next hearing on the case is Nov. 13 where we'll learn about a new trial date, assuming there will be one.

When I grow up, I wanna be like Brian Steel… …there’s “going to the mat” for your clients, and then there’s this…
Cops were pissed that Brian Steel immediately showed up while they were raiding Young Thug’s house in Atlanta 🙄🙄 “Great - his f******g lawyer is here”

One nugget buried in the LIV bankruptcy documents: BC Partners has requirements for how many players/which players need to sign on to LIV 2.0 in order for them to invest the $300 million — and they are giving LIV a 35-day window to make it happen. @TheAthletic

24 hours into LIV Golf's bankruptcy. Thousands of pages of filings. A 100-minute hearing. Loans. Equity. Rejected contracts. Going to be a long but intriguing process. Breaking down what's been revealed so far @FOS ⬇️ frontofficesports.com/articl…

Watching @aburkhartlaw methodically demolish nonsensical and unfounded legal takes on the Tyler Robinson case might become one of my new favorite pastimes…

This is literally one of the first things we learned they had from the probable cause affidavit.

Also - for the record - I say these remarks as someone who has a very strong predisposition against the state in that i feel they’re often not held to their true burden… …but in this instance, the CA isn’t allowed to just throw in the towel.
So - Steve Descano testified today…and I’ve made fairly clear how I stand on the work his office has/hasn’t done for Fairfax county… (see YT commentary on Banfield case) That said, he pointed a lot to the absence of cooperating witnesses in cases where charges were dropped…🧵

And you have the authority to send uniformed officers to procure those witnesses, regardless of their reluctance… …BECAUSE…who you are protecting by proceeding with charges isn’t just the reluctant victim in THIS CASE, it’s the next potential victim you swore to protect…

And willful blindness does not protect the community. It hurts it. For those who would criticize those comments as insensitive or “obtuse” - I pray you never play the part of family to a victim whose harm could’ve been avoided had the CA issued a subpoena & compelled appearance.

Translation to legal equivalent: “…marks a monumental victory for public safety in Virginia, banning the sale, manufacture, and transfer of assault [SPEECH] and large capacity [SPEAKING MACHINES] effective…” Now apply to 4th & 5th amendments, then it gets real interesting…
.@GovernorVA's signing of SB749 marks a monumental victory for public safety in the Commonwealth of Virginia, banning the sale, manufacture, and transfer of assault firearms and large capacity magazines effective July 1, 2026.

That’s cute…how about this one… “…shall not be infringed…” I quoted the bill of rights…but I’m pretty sure you’d argue there’s some context missing, right? Funny how that works…
I quoted the Virginia Constitution and Republicans are losing their minds.🤯 Jonathan Turley suggested I am a "radical" and "Jacobian" for literally quoting the Virginia Constitution's Bill of Rights.😂

Justice Gorsuch is, yet again, the only adult in the room… His concurrence is a mix between…”oh, come on…” and “now, children…” I just wish he’d hold CJR to equal measure. If there were a greater example of selectively held legal principles, it’s Roberts. 🤔 🌬️☝️
Not to pick a side here, but this could be a #VirtualLegality transcript. There's a reason the legislative makes the rules.

I was stuck in Court until late today, so sadly can’t run a show tonight. I spoke with @RunkleOfTheBailey before Heading to Court - he’s running a stream tonight going over the case out of Georgia that’s been getting a lot of traction. Go check it out!!!

From everything I was able to see of this trial, this defense team was masterful! It’s awesome to see @IanRunkle, who covered a trial so many wouldn’t, land this interview!
