Red, itchy, crusty eyelids? It might not be allergies. It could be blepharitis.
Blepharitis is inflammation along the edges of your eyelids, and itโs one of the most common problems I see as an optometrist.
It can cause burning, irritation, crusting around your lashes, and even dry eye.
And hereโs the frustrating part: It often keeps coming back if you donโt manage it properly.
Warm compresses, proper eyelid hygiene, and treating the underlying cause can make a big difference.

Construction workers protect their heads, hands, and feet all day.
Their eyes deserve the same treatment.
Dust, concrete, metal, wood, chemicals, and flying debris can turn a normal workday into an eye emergency fast.
So if I worked construction, eye protection would be non-negotiable.

Alhamdulillah for another day and another opportunity to learn, build, and become better.
Today feels a little different for me because weโre officially kicking off something Iโve been looking forward to for a while.
The AI & Web3 Pathway starts today at 7:30 PM WAT.
And honestly, I donโt want this to be another programme where we attend classes, take notes, and forget everything a few weeks later.
I want us to actually learn, experiment, create, automate, build, and find opportunities.
AI is changing how we work and create, but I believe the real advantage will belong to people who can combine these tools with their own creativity, curiosity, and ability to solve problems.
So today is just the beginning.
New month.
New lessons.
New ideas.
New things to build.
May Allah bless our efforts, increase us in beneficial knowledge, and guide us toward opportunities that bring value to ourselves and others.
