UK fiscal path → CGT, property, energy, payroll. Owners are delaying sales and hiring. Sterling risk → scarce assets. I run this from a real balance sheet, not a newsdesk.

I am building a big business alone. Doing the work of 20 people no joke. I want to see how far I c a push before I need staff. Yes I have some outsources resource but zero employees. £50m turnover is the first target. Technologies built for full cycle policy, sales, underwriting and agency management.

John Healey’s first Budget just doubled the bank surcharge from 3% to 6% and hit banks, landlords and savers. He called it “everyday fixes.” What he didn’t do: touch the welfare bill, fix productivity, or stop energy costs from crushing households. Banks get a temporary tax raid. Households get a £100 bung and higher property/savings taxes. If this is the plan, why are we still calling it a growth Budget? There is no UK growth or prosperity and sadly things will get worse not better. Everyone I speak with are struggling, even the people who do well are now saying it’s getting too much financially to stay in UK.

I am all for leaving a tip for greats service. But when they bring the bill and pay machine, they come like this to me… I paid 15% service charge automatically then they try to make me believe I haven’t tipped. I find this disrespectful, annoying and greedy. So many places do this.

Basic economics are being avoided in the UK and this is why we are destined for war with Russia, 1000 days time apparently!

HMRC has assigned compliance managers to 200+ billionaires with UK tax obligations. What happens next? Likely more spending on tax advisers, reviews of ownership structures and, for some, relocation. The test is extra tax collected. A longer list isn’t a result. Cost V Income but I feel it will be all costs and no extra income because wealth moves to where it’s best looked after and that’s not the UK.

SUMMARY of UK BUDGET — 28 OCTOBER 2026 Capital gains tax first: • Headline CGT rates unchanged. • Business Asset Disposal Relief lifetime limit cut from £1m to £500k from April 2027. Rate remains 18%. • New Founders’ Relief: 10% CGT on up to £10m of qualifying lifetime gains from April 2027. Eligibility under consultation. Savings & property: • Savings interest tax rates rise to 24%, 44% and 49% from April 2027. • Rental income tax rates rise to 24%, 44% and 49% in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. • Cash ISA limit stays £20,000. Planned cut scrapped. • Trading allowance triples from £1,000 to £3,000 from April 2027. Households: • £100 energy payment from January 2027 for eligible English households in council tax bands A–D. Devolved governments decide their own support. • Electricity VAT relief extended to July 2027. • Gas standing charges to be abolished, with costs moved into unit rates. Savings depend on usage. • Fuel duty freeze and existing 5p cut extended to July 2027. • Minimum wage rises 3.9%. • Targeted pension tax allowance from April 2027 protects those with total income no higher than the full new State Pension. Business: • English retail, hospitality and leisure business rates relief threshold rises from £12k to £18k. • Bank tax surcharge doubles from 3% to 6% for 15 months from January 2027. Defence: • Spending target rises to 3% of GDP by 2030 and 3.5% by 2035. My take: business owners need to scrutinise the CGT relief changes. Savers and landlords face higher income tax, while eligibility for the new 10% founders’ rate is still being settled.

Israel: Turnout was historically high (74.3% by 8pm local time / 6pm UK time), the highest at that point in decades. timesofisrael.com Exit polls from Israeli broadcasters (Kan, Channel 12, Channel 13) were due right after the main polls closed at 10pm Israel time (8pm UK time). These are the first real indications of the actual result and can differ from the pre-election polls.

I flick through your tube channels and all I can say is 95% of videos is all doom and gloom. Is it that people like doomsday narratives? Why do people find it so hard to be peaceful or happy? Is this how we are built in our DNA? The bodies that get most views are disaster stories, how Ai will kill us all, how robots will take all jobs, how we will starve to death in the next 3 years. Just some example of people’s mentality and yet they 400,000+ views each and no supporting evidence. So opinions matter when it comes to views, doom loops matter and BS matters.

It’s a deep complex story of British financial control over the world. Very few understand what’s really happening. It’s like losing 99% of your best customers. Your financial position becomes desperate. UK is being unwound of its global control.

“Tax the rich more” sounds simple until the rich leave. Chris Rokos paid £330 million in UK tax last year, the country’s third-biggest individual taxpayer. He’s moving his residency to Greece. Lakshmi Mittal, long one of Britain’s richest, shifted his tax residence to Switzerland and is spending more time in Dubai. Inheritance tax on worldwide assets was a key reason cited after the non-dom changes. These aren’t abstract cases. When the people who pay the largest cheques decide the friction is too high, the tax base shrinks. The same people who demanded “tax the rich more” then face a smaller pool and look for the next lever. I’ve built businesses for 35 years. Capital and talent respond to incentives, not slogans. Raise the cost of staying and earning here and a portion of them will simply stop staying and earning here. The revenue doesn’t automatically follow. You can keep repeating the mantra. Or you can look at what happens when the highest contributors actually move. No one can describe “pay their fair share” it’s just a headline with no meaning.

And this is what we pay more and more taxes for! The state of our country is getting worse by the day. I don’t mind a little more tax if it really went back to improving things for us all. But to never gets to us, history shows this.
