Just pinning a thread before we go and celebrate Jacob’s 13th birthday on top of Kilimanjaro. If you can sponsor him a few quid and help support RAF Vets in need that would be awesome. Thank you❤️

Just another £158.00 will get Jacob to £17,000 from his target🎯
Don’t sponsor him though, sponsor the 58 year old idiot who came up with the ridiculous idea to climb up to 6,000 meters with his son for his 13th birthday🤣

I've been doing a terrible job advertising it, but I have a new deep space shot coming this week. This is a small crop of it.
I used a 17" scope to shoot a stellar nursery: the stunning lagoon nebula. Make sure you're on my email list for early access: createdrops.com/nursery-of-h…

With Remembrance Sunday fast approaching can you help me support RAF Veterans and their families. If every one of my followers donated £2.50 I would raise £13,492.50 for the @RAFBF
If you can, please donate via the link below. Thank you.

If you’ve not watched the story of a young sports person documenting their journey on @Youtube start by watching

Then watch this from last year

Hopefully you’ll enjoy those videos enough to watch this years too.
Found an SD card with some data I hadn't processed, so here are 2 #Pano photos of Swindon for @PanoPhotos
Happy to say I managed to finally get a picture of the #Aurora as far south as Wiltshire!

Hi @Jacob_The_Pilot , you are a phenomenal young fundraiser. Good luck with your next adventure and what a way to celebrate your birthday!
Hi @astro_timpeake
I’ve joined the Air Cadets & I’m climbing Kilimanjaro next month on my birthday to raise £100,000 for RAF Veterans. Any chance of sharing my mission with your followers in the hope some of them might support my fundraiser? Thank you

If you had the chance to talk directly with an astronaut aboard the International Space Station, what would you ask?
Would you want to know about life in microgravity, scientific research, technology on the ISS, views of Earth from orbit, or something else entirely?
Drop your question in the comments!
ALT Graphic promoting audience engagement with ARISS. On the left, a NASA photo shows an astronaut aboard the International Space Station using amateur radio equipment inside the Columbus module, surrounded by cables, equipment racks, mission patches, and station hardware. On the right, a dark blue panel contains the text: “If you could talk to an astronaut... What would you ask someone living and working aboard the International Space Station? Students participating in ARISS contacts ask astronauts questions ranging from daily life in space to science, technology, and future exploration. Share your question in the comments!” A caption at the bottom credits the image as a NASA photo of ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet using amateur radio in the ISS Columbus Module in 2021. The ARISS logo appears in the lower-right corner.

Finally I’ve decided to put a project together and sell my photography. So if you’ve got nothing better to do this weekend, pop into Cromer Community Centre in the heart of the town and say hello and possibly buy one or two framed limited edition signed photos. See you soon!

Happy Emergency Services Day!
Thank you to all the emergency staff across the country for their hard work 💙
With roles ranging from call handlers and paramedics to technicians and care assistants, it takes a whole team!
