Rep Cammack is right, but that won’t fix our healthcare system. Our healthcare system would still be unaffordable and limit choice. We need Medicare for All, which would eliminate out-of-pocket costs and allow individuals to choose any doctor or hospitals.
I asked health insurance CEOs to raise their hands if they’re penalized when patients are harmed by delays or wrongful denials. Not. One. Hand. Patients pay the price. Executives protect the profits. That’s the problem.

"Of all forms of inequality, injustice in health is the most shocking and inhumane." Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Let's honor Dr. King's memory by passing Medicare for All as soon as possible!

If free market works in health care., then why was it cheaper for you to go to Canada to get your hernia repaired? Even with you health insurance why was it cheaper to get your repair in Canada? Canada's system is more efficient, cheaper and produces better outcomes. Why?
Instead of shifting more healthcare costs to taxpayers, we can make it easier for workers to use their freedom of association to access higher-quality healthcare. The government should not stand in the way of market-based incentives to lower the cost of health insurance. usatoday.com/story/opinion/2…

Yesterday, I got seven scam calls, and today I got eight scam calls. Those are unusually high numbers for me. Scam calls seem a perfect fit for the Trump presidency.

This great advice!
For Medicare advice, don't call the numbers on the TV ads! You will reach brokers who are paid more to sell you private for-profit Medicare Advantage plans. Instead CONTACT your State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP). For KY residents, Call 1-877-293-7447 chfs.ky.gov/agencies/dail/Pa…

The doctor would not need to take any of your money if we had #MedicareForAll.

Ariana Ramsey, a member of the U.S. Olympic rugby team that won a bronze medal, said she was amazed by free health care and America needs to do better on health care. She's right, and we can end the amazement of free health care with #MedicareForAll. tiktok.com/@ariana.ramsey/vi…

I totally agree. I am still waiting for the press to question Trump's cognitive abilities for three weeks straight. Trump statements are lies, make no sense, and are incoherent. It's time for the media to have story after story on this.
I couldn't care LESS if Kamala Harris ever sits down for an interview with reporters, not ONE bit. Why? Because the other guy has yet to answer one question TRUTHFULLY or coherently. He stands there lying his ass off, not one reporter calls him on it. It's absolute BULLSHIT. In fact, if I were Kamala Harris, I wouldn't agree to an interview until the media grills that motherfucker with the same intensity that they came after Joe about HIS AGE. Make him answer a question. Stop tiptoeing around his ass. Ask him about the $10 million dollars from Egypt. Ask him about the $1 billion dollar quid pro quo with big oil CEOs. Ask him about the medical report for his magical ear. These are right off the top of my head. Do we have to tell you fuckers how to do your jobs? In the meantime, she doesn't owe the media a damn thing. She'll do an interview when she feels like it.

Project 2025 is misnamed. A more accurate name would be Project 1650.

I totally agree with this post. Doctors' pay makes up 8% of healthcare costs. The culprits of outrageous h/c costs are health insurance companies, PBMs, and private equity that want to maximize profits even at the expense of patient care.
Today my team sat down with our insurance broker. My health insurance premium for my employees went up 30% for our renewal. The government cut their pay to me and all doctors by 3.37% this year for the first two months then reduced the cut to 1.66% for the remainder of the year. I’m tired of paid mouthpieces telling Congress and Americans that doctors are the reason for our high healthcare costs. If you agree with me, share this post and let your friends and colleagues know where the money in healthcare is going. Hint: it isn’t to doctors

There is too much truth in this posting:

I said this a year ago. Sadly, it is still true today. How is health care like quantum mechanics? You are always uncertain whether the insurance company will pay your claim. End the uncertainty with #MedicareForAll!
