Harvest is almost done! Time to haul in our loot!

Safe to say there is varietal differences in peas 😳

Finally got a combine! 😊

Fall crop silage complete! This is definitely one of the harder jobs on the Research farm. Great effort from the team.

Merry Christmas everyone! Gurdeep and Amelia will be at the @WCCPS_SK show next week to visit with anyone interested in small plot R&D east of Calgary.

Silage trials looking great. Might even loose some of the team in the Trit 😬 @WestCropInnvtns

Plots shaping up nicely 🤩

Been a great stretch of weather and wind to get lots of treatments down!

Testing the new fertilizer spreader out on Matts grass. Looks like fertilizer works. Also looks like we need better GPS 😂

All hands on deck! Getting lots of plant counts done today.

Treatments on treatments!

Time to put on my tractor driver hat! Almost at the finish line after tonight.

Great seeding season this year doing small scale farming! Beauty team 💪🏻🌧️

Last year we were testing our new plot seeder out on Mother’s Day weekend with a smaller tractor. This year, the team will have a significant portion of the plots in with a bigger tractor! Super proud of how the team is doing this spring!

Racks installed! Ready to take product in for 2025 plots!

I long for the day where we can do some research on high phosphorus (manured) soils.

#harvest24 rolls on! #research

When the summer students go back to school, you're left with the B Team 😂 @kwscanada and @AlbertaGrains fall plots are in the ground!

Blood, sweat and tears put into these plots... and these Dryland plots looked amazing 😢 #hail #abstorm
