Even Halloween creatures need a vacation; a chance to relax and rejuvenate our tired bones!
Every October I return to Grand Canyon National Park to look at the "Booo-tiful" scenery. There is something here that inspires me and puts my spirit back on the right path.
Wishing you a Safe and Happy Halloween from all of us at Grand Canyon National Park!
If you are planning to visit the park this week, know that Stage 4 water restrictions remain in effect on the South Rim - so bring your own 💧water. Overnight lodging is not available inside the park - however lodging is available in the gateway community of Tusayan.

35 YEARS AGO TODAY: The famous Halloween Snowstorm of 1991!! 30 inches of snow hammered Minnesota!!
Let’s hear your stories!! Where were you? Did you still trick-or-treat? How long were you stuck inside?
For those that weren’t in MN then, how many times have you heard about this storm over the years?!
100%. Right @TomSnell9 ???
Who's up for a parade?

Happy birthday to the man, the myth, the legend.
Teddy Roosevelt established 5 national parks, 18 national monuments, 150 national forests and countless other public lands.
Americans are still enjoying the places he helped conserve.
