โThis was my second time riding him and I had a very sweet trip,โ Rispoli said. โThere was a lot of pace in the race. The horse found his spot and had a smooth trip. He secured an ideal position. Once I hit the final turn, I knew he was dragging me up there. He had such a nice turn of foot to win the race in a very easy way.โ Rispoli after his win aboard Atitlan.

โI was very confident going into today with the field we were facing,โ Rispoli said. โThis horse has been unbelievable since he was gelded a year ago. Heโs a different horse. I was sitting seventh with a quarter of a mile to go and he gave me a kick that was so good. Absolutely a different horse now. Before he would be up front and when he was passed, he would quit on me.โ Rispoli after his win aboard Sorrento Sky.
