In Hollywood, a movie's result is based on stories, but not heroes’ market. In TFI, its collections, that’s not fair.
Our best actors cannot do different stories because of this. I like both #1Nenokkadine and #SPYder movies. But commercially, they were not great hits as they’re judged to a different standard.

@urstrulyMahesh is the luckiest hero to enter a peak SSR film, that too as a solo hero.

Director @ssrajamouli :
I have seen many films based on Indian epics, but I WAS NEVER SATISFIED. The way they were written and the way they were brought to the screen, the scale never seemed to match the grandeur of the epics.
Now, I have an opportunity to do that. I have to bring that scale, grandeur, and the larger-than-life emotions of those characters to the screen.
That is the challenge I have set for myself. And that is why I would say @VaranasiMovie is the most ambitious film ever.
