I actually get this take for spaghetti armed leftist males. Most of them don’t care about sports or sports culture, so giving up a $100k salary, college basketball, college football and the NFL, for $40k and better museums seems worth it.
Anyone who has traveled to Europe knows this. I was blown away at the difference and my wife and I are currently working on our paper work to get to Italy. America has no culture. It does not give a fuck about you. Quality life is shit unless you are in the well connected.
