Driena didn’t actually address Rachel’s point, which was a strategic one. If your goal is to preserve 'conservative' outcomes (she claims she's a conservative), and women as a group consistently vote more to the left than men, then expanding or restricting the electorate becomes a question of incentives and consequences, not abstract rights. Under this premise, it makes sense to only allow men to vote.
She responded by grounding everything in “inherent value”, but that doesn’t resolve the underlying issue. Did she mean that value exists objectively, independent of human agreement? If so, where does it come from, and why does it necessarily translate into identical political rights like voting? Equal human worth doesn’t automatically mean that every civic mechanism should be structured around equal input. We already accept this distinction elsewhere. Children have equal human value but don’t vote. Non-citizens have equal human value but don’t vote. So “inherent value” alone clearly isn’t the deciding factor.
The key is: what is the actual principle that links equal value to equal voting rights specifically, rather than that being treated as self-evident?
The Black voting comparison doesn't work because the claim about women's voting patterns is based on biological sex differences that are innate, cross-cultural, and stable across time. Black Americans voting Democrat is a political alignment that has changed historically and is driven by political context, not by innate biological traits. It could change again. Women's aggregate voting patterns have been consistent across every Western democracy since women received the vote, because they're rooted in trait differences that don't change.
It seems she made the entire disagreement on whether people have value, whereas it should have been about whether voting is a moral entitlement derived from that value, or a political mechanism whose design affects outcomes. Those are two different arguments and she treated them as the same.

There's a strange thing that happens online and in real world conversations, where understanding or explaining an idea or phenomenon is interpreted as SUPPORTING it.
As a result, people pretend to not understand things, lest they be seen as advocating them.

She really said the quiet part out loud 😭
“Women are 1,000x more narcissistic than males” and then went full lecture mode. The part she said “you only get one mama, love her no matter what” vs “nobody ever says that about dad” point actually hit different.
And the part about women thinking they can talk to you any kind of way, put hands on you, and still expect you to speak of them like angels… whew.
Some of y’all about to screenshot this and send it to the group chat. Some of y’all about to write a 10-paragraph essay in the comments.
Have you experienced any of these? Let me know in the comments.

It will never stop being astounding that a bunch of men said “we are women!” and a bunch of people, including those in government, said “ok!” and then demonized any woman who said “well this is obviously bullsh-t.”
Women will ALWAYS need to appeal to men for their rights, says @paleochristcon . @notsoErudite disagrees. What is ‘Force Doctrine’?
The irony of this post will be lost on him.
London is facing a dark blizzard of disinformation, driven by extremist groups and hostile state actors. We can't ignore the damage it’s causing to our communities, safety and trust.
It’s why London’s leading the way in tackling this threat, so I welcome the Government's announcement of a National Centre for Information Defence.
